Science Press is the largest comprehensive science and technology publishing institution in China. She was merged by the Compilation Bureau of China Academy of Sciences and the influential Longmen United Bookstore founded in 1930s. Science Press is an open publishing house with a long history and strong strength, which mainly publishes books and periodicals. 1993, Science Press won the title of "National Excellent Publishing House" in the first batch. Since 1982, Science Press has been among the best in the evaluation of outstanding scientific and technological books in previous countries.

Science Press now publishes more than 4,000 books and 190 periodicals (including 29 foreign periodicals) every year. In recent years, we have also actively developed audio-visual and software, CD-ROM and other electronic publications with the theme of science and technology.

People's Health Publishing House is a central medical and health professional publishing house directly under the National Health and Family Planning Commission of the People's Republic of China. Founded in June 1953, it is a medical publishing institution with large scale, strong strength and many publications in China. 1993 was awarded the first batch of excellent publishing houses in China by the Propaganda Department of the CPC and the General Administration of Press and Publication.
