English Education (Teachers' College) major: It mainly trains English teachers in primary and secondary schools who have solid basic knowledge and skills of English language, are proficient in using English language, have advanced educational concepts, are familiar with the basic laws of education, can use modern teaching means and methods, and can adapt to the reform system of new English curriculum standards in primary and secondary schools.

English majors: comprehensive English, advanced English, English reading, listening, speaking, writing, general situation of English-speaking countries, history and selected reading of British and American literature, introduction to linguistics, translation theory and practice, English-Chinese translation, consecutive interpretation, simultaneous interpretation, English teaching methods and schools, educational psychology, modern educational technology foundation, etc.

English education (normal) majors: English pronunciation, comprehensive English, English listening and speaking, English teaching and research in primary schools and kindergartens, professional skills of English teachers, application of modern educational technology, class management, family education and parental guidance, etc.

3. Different training requirements

English major: In terms of political thought, we should master the stand, viewpoint and method of Marxism and the essence of Socialism with Chinese characteristics Theory; Professionally, we should master the basic knowledge of English language and literature, and understand the knowledge of humanities and social sciences such as literature, history, philosophy, politics, economy, art and law in major English-speaking countries.
