The TV animation "The Battle of the Library" is adapted from the series of light novels of "The Battle of the Library" by Japanese woman writer Hiro Arikawa, and illustrated by Tu Hua. This is also the animation adapted from Noe tamina's first novel.

Animation began to be broadcast on noitaminA program of Fuji TV on April 10, 2008. In addition to kanto region, other regions have also shown the word 12, but the word 1 was not shown on TV.
