Yang Fu's Record of Foreign Bodies

Written by Yang Fu in the Eastern Han Dynasty. A roll. Geographical description of Sui Shu Jing Ji Zhi, Shu Jing Ji Zhi of Old Tang Dynasty and Wen Zhi of New Tang Shuyi. I lost it. Yang Fu, also known as Xiao Yuan and Zuo Xianxian, is from Nanhai, Guangdong. At the end of the Han Dynasty, he was an expert in negotiation. The history of foreign objects is the earliest one in history. Notes on Water Classics is quoted from Yang's Records of Foreign Bodies in Nanyuan. Quoted from Selected Works, or Yang's Record of Foreign Bodies in Intertoe or JIAOZHOU's Record of Foreign Bodies. His books mainly record the products and ethnic customs in Jiaozhou area (including modern Guangdong, Guangxi and northern Vietnam), such as golden birds, wolves, sharks, oranges, rice, orangutans, peacocks and wolves. Volume 83 of "Collection of Arts and Literature" quoted a cloud: "The people of wolves □ (moon+famine) make friends with the Han people, and they often go to the market at night, and their likes and dislikes are known by their noses." The lost prose is mainly prose with four rhymes. For example, the thirty-seventh volume of Zhu quoted Yang's Nan Yi Zhi: "Beard is just a big snake, both broad and long. Caicai barge, its literary brocade chapter. Eating deer and swallowing deer will only make a difference. Enjoy a feast with guests, whether it's beans or tapirs. " There are lost articles in Notes for Beginners, Collected Works of Arts and Literature, Notes of Bei Tang, Notes of Later Han Dynasty, Notes of Taiping Guangji, Notes on Taiping, Records of Sea Breaking, Notes on Major Events, etc. Today, there is a collection of Zeng Zhao in the Qing Dynasty, and nearly 100 articles have been collected. According to Zeng's opinion, Yang Fu started a kind of ancient books, so only Yang Fu can have proper names and be quoted by the group of books. Anyone who only quotes foreign records without naming them should be regarded as Yang's writings. [2] Therefore, he collected many lost articles that were not Yang Fu's Records of Foreign Things, and only the author found them mixed with the lost articles of Zhou Nan's Records of Foreign Things, Chen Qichang's Records of Foreign Things and Yulin's Records of Foreign Things. In addition, there are also omissions, such as several lost articles in Beitang Shuchao. Liu's Collection of Local Records of Han and Tang Dynasties has also been lost.

Athena Chu's Records of Foreign Bodies in Southern Fujian

Wu wrote it in the Three Kingdoms period. A roll. Athena Chu, who served in Xuanhua in Wu Dynasty, and Kang Tai, a corps commander, were ordered to "declare the country in the south" [3], and sent missions to Minnan, Lin Yi and Nanyang countries. After returning home, he wrote a book "Records of Foreign Bodies in Southern Fujian", recounting his own experiences and introducing the products and geographical knowledge of southern Fujian, Lin Yi, Dashazhou (now Nanyang Islands), Tianzhu, Daqin and other countries in the southwest. Kang Tai, who was on a mission together, also wrote a book "Wu Shi's Biography in a Foreign Country" to introduce what he saw and heard. Zhu Yingzhi's book has not been quoted in various books and historical notes. Xiang Da quoted Bei Tang Shu Chao (volume 132) and Zhang (account): Ying Zhiyun: The Secretary transferred Wang Zuobai's pearl to give an account and left Tianzhu Buddha. It is suspected that Zhu Yingshu lost his article [4]. Zhang Zongyuan's textual research on Sui Shu's classics and records in Qing Dynasty quoted Song Ying's records of foreign objects in Tongdian Bianzhu and Dawan Justice History, suspecting that Song Ying was Zhu Ying's fault. Its influence is so great that even Yao Zhenzong and Xiang can't deny it. This statement is actually wrong. The author has made a comprehensive investigation on the lost articles in Song Ying's Records of Foreign Things. There are six lost articles in the Song Dynasty, all of which are recorded in the western regions such as Dawan, Daqin, Quzuo and Yueshi, but Hainan is not involved [5]. "The History of Foreign Things" and "The History of Foreign Things in Funan" are actually two books, and Zhang's statement is groundless. In the Qing Dynasty, Chen's second collection of Lushan Jingshe Series, Gu Hai Guo Ji, was compiled with Funan Foreign Material Record, and several collected articles were lost in the Song Dynasty.

Wan Zhen's Records of Foreign Bodies in Zhou Nan

Written by Wu Wanzhen of the Three Kingdoms. A roll. Wan Zhen, Wu Shi is the prefect of Danyang. Xiang said, "Wan Zhen's deeds have not been seen, but the Annals of Gyeonggi noted that he was the magistrate of Wu Danyang, and did not say when Sun Wu was. Today, according to Sun Wu and He, they have sent troops overseas many times. Compared with the Ming Dynasty, it is almost the same as when Zuyong was happy. Danyang Prefecture is Lv Fan of Huang Wuchu, and Zhuge Ke is Danyang Prefecture of Jiahe for three years. It's been more than ten years since I arrived in Zhuge Ke, and I haven't heard of anyone following Fan as the magistrate of Danyang. According to speculation, Wan Zhen was the governor of Danyang, that is, after Lv Fan and before Zhuge Ke, and the overseas conquest was in full swing. The earthquake happened in Danyang, which is very close to the capital. Therefore, there is a book called Zhou Nan Foreign Bodies Record to record foreign bodies. Although this book was written in the name of a foreign country, the customs of many countries in Hainan are no different from geography books. " [6] Wan Zhen's records are not limited to Hainan countries, but also involve western countries such as Daqin. The geographical customs and products recorded in the book, such as the Five Lakes, Minnan, Sidiao, Linyang, Dianxun, No matter, Han Shi, Huli, Tea Old Man and Renzi, are mostly not found in previous history books and have high historical value. In volume 790, Taiping Yulan quoted Zhou Nan's foreign body records as saying: "Gunuko is 8,000 miles away from Ying Ge, and there are more than 10,000 households, all riding four-wheeled vehicles and driving two or four horses. Four meetings were also collected. There are often more than 100 ships, and the city will have 10000 people. This will be a day and night market, ships will sing their horns and people will put on China. " Most of the existing lost articles are prose, and there are also some four-character rhymes. There are two possibilities for this situation. First of all, prose is text, while verse is praise. Another possibility is that verse is the text and prose is the middle note. For example, in Volume 788 of Magnolia in Taiping, the text of "Ren Lei" is verse, with prose in the middle. "Literature and Art Collection" Volume 84 Baoyu quoted "Foreign Bodies in Zhou Nan" as saying: "There is a big mussel in the south and north of the South China Sea, with purple in white, and its natural posture is not false." The shellfish in the treasure department of Taiping Royal View (Volume 807) are also quoted from Zhou Nan Foreign Body Record. It says, "There is a big shell, which is not good-looking." High quality purple ornaments, Wen Ruo Luo Zhu. No polishing, no jade, no luster. Thinking about carving Mo's house, I want to cut it. In Gilbert's past, you were exempted from detention. "Prose and verse are the same, and the metaphor describing 97 1 is similar, but the style is different. There are also many such cases in other foreign language records. At about the same time, the authors all adopted the popular narrative methods at that time. The lost articles in Zhou Nan's Records of Foreign Things are mostly found in Qi Yaomin Shu, Notes for Beginners, Bei Tang's Notes, Justice in Historical Records, Meanings of Various Classics, Zhu Lin from Fayuan, Taiping Yulan and Event Notes. Chen compiled more than 60 lost articles in Qing Dynasty. The books that Liu Ye received.

Shen's Records of Foreign Bodies in Coastal Water and Soil

Wu wrote it in the Three Kingdoms period. A roll. Sui Zhi and others. They are all written as coastal land and water foreign objects, while literary Lei Ju and Taiping Yulan are all cited as coastal foreign objects. Notes to the Book of the Later Han Dynasty quoted Kuloko Shen's Records of Foreign Bodies in Linhai and Records of Land and Water in Linhai, which are suspected to be one book. In the Three Kingdoms period, Kuluo Keshen and Wu were also the prefect of Danyang. When Jin Jun broke Wu, he was beheaded by Jin General Wang Hun [7]. Shen Jiulang was the governor of Danyang, later than Wan Zhen. Judging from the lost articles in the existing Records of Coastal Waters, most of the records in the book are the customs of products in the southern coastal areas, such as fish, birds, trees and other animals and plants. Taiping Yulan (Volume 939) quoted Foreign Bodies in Linhai as saying: "Cattle and fish are calves with bluish yellow fur, so they can sleep peacefully. When people are at the scene, they feel like cows, and they stink in a mile. " Another cloud said, "The deer fish is more than two feet long, with horns on its head and feet under its belly." The Collection of Arts and Literature, Volume 92, introduces Foreign Bodies in Linhai: □ (catfish+chicken), waterfowl, five-color fur, short fox eater. It is in a stream, and there is no toxic gas. There are lost articles in Qi Shu, Notes for Beginners, Bei Tang Shu Chao, Literature and Art Lei Ju, Notes on the Later Han Dynasty, Taiping Yulan, Notes on Events, Records of Broken Things in the Sea, etc. Here we go again. Yu Lanqing Volume 946 Bug? The Ministry quoted Kuloko Shen's "Records of Foreign Bodies in the Sea" as saying: "There must be thousands of clouds, or clouds, in the Wu Gong of Jinan Mountain, and the rest are preserved and taste like prawns." According to Jin 'an County, in the third year of Jin Taikang (282), Jian 'an County was divided into Fuzhou, Fujian. Jin 'an County, located in Dongan County, Wu of the Three Kingdoms, was later changed from Jin State to Jin 'an, located near Quanzhou, Fujian. Therefore, Wu did not have the name of Jin 'an, and Kulokoshen did not enter Jin, so the word "Jin 'an" should not appear in his writing, and it may be changed when later generations copy it. There are four kinds of compilation: pottery compilation in Ming dynasty, which is included in Shuo cymbals; Compiled by Wang Renjun in Qing Dynasty, collected in Supplementary Book of Jade Letter Mountain House; Yang En, compiled in the Republic of China, collected in "Taizhou Series Post-collection"; The books that Liu Ye received.

Xue Ying's Record of Foreign Bodies in Jingyang South

Wu wrote it in the Three Kingdoms period. Historical records are not contained, and the number of volumes is unknown. Xue Ying, the son of Xue Zong, was elected as Cao Shangshu and Guang Luxun by Wu Wei of the Three Kingdoms. After entering the Jin Dynasty, he became a regular servant. For the story, see the reflection of Wu Shu Xue Zong. Xue Zong was the satrap of Hepu and Jiao Jiao, and Xue Ying lived in Lingnan with his father. He is quite familiar with the customs of products in southern China, so he has this book. Historical Records, Biography of Sima Xiangru, Suoyin quoted from Jingyang Story, which said: "(Yangmei) actually has a pit outside, which is red when it is ripe, and it tastes sweet and sour." "Notes on Selected Works of Du Fu Wu" quoted a foreign body record in Banan, Jingyang, saying: "Dried fish is like plum, and there are thorns in the core. It tastes bitter at first, but it will be sweeter later. Highlight and Jian' an. " Zhang Shu said in the preface to Liangzhou Waizhi: "The sounds and meanings of various classics are quoted from Xie Xue Waizhi, and Sui Zhi is Yi Xue." According to Xie Xue, Xue Zongzhi's eldest son and Xue Ying's brother, there is no record of foreign objects in the history books [8]. I didn't see all the classics, sounds and meanings quoted from Foreign Records, and neither did Sui Shu's Annals of Classics. I don't know what Zhang is based on.

Qiao Zhou's foreign body record

It was written in the Three Kingdoms Period. There is no historical record and the number of volumes is unknown. I lost it. Qiao Zhou, a native of Yunnan, was a famous scholar in Wei and Jin Dynasties. Shu Kingdom of the Three Kingdoms is Doctor Guanglu; When you get into gold, you ride a captain. He wrote a lot. According to Biography of the Three Kingdoms, Shu Shu Qiao Zhou, "He wrote more than 100 pieces of Faxun, Wu Jinglun and Textual Research on Ancient History." All these works, including the records of foreign objects, have been lost. His Records of Foreign Things and Records of Historical Records were cited as Records of Foreign Things in Bashu. For example, the Collection of Jia in the Houzhou of the River in Historical Records quoted Jin as saying: "Things other than Bashu are a hair long on the head." This foreign body chronicle of Bashu should be regarded as Qiao Zhou's foreign body chronicle. "Notes on Selected Works of Shudu" quoted Qiao Zhou's "Records of Foreign Objects" as saying: "Fuling turtle is big, its armour can be predicted, and its edge is like a turtle, so it is commonly called Ling." He also said: "Dianchi Lake is in Jianning boundary, and there are more than 200 miles of water around osawa. It is deep, wide and shallow, like an inverted pool, hence the name Dianchi Lake. "

Continuation of "foreign body record"

Ten volumes of biography of Xu Jinxian. I lost it. Continue to be salty, be a party member, be thirsty for knowledge and learn from Zhao Jing and Du Yu. Yongjia Middle School is the magistrate of Dong 'an. Later, as an official in Liu Kun, he was appointed as a corps commander. Schleswig again, Cao joined the army. Jin Shu's biography of Xu Xianchuan: "He wrote travel notes, notes on foreign objects and notes on ancient books in Jizhong, all of which were published in ten volumes." According to his biography, Xu Xian lived in the north all his life, first in the Western Jin Dynasty, then in Liu Kun, then in Schleswig, and never in the south. The Record of Foreign Objects seems to be based on the records of northern products. His book has ten volumes, which is the largest volume among all kinds of foreign records, but the historical records have not been published or quoted.

Song Ying's record of foreign objects

Song Ying wrote it. There is no record in historical records, and there is no test in the volume. I lost it. Song Ying's deeds are unknown. There are several lost articles in His Records of Foreign Objects, which can be found in Historical Records Justice, Notes on General Canon, Taiping View and Taiping Universe, all of which record the foreign objects of Yue's family, Dawan, Daqin, and Qu Zuo. For example, "Historical Records, Biography of Dawan and Justice" quotes: "The princes of northern Qin Dynasty are filial, and there are lambs naturally produced in the soil. If they are vulgar, they will build walls around them and fear being eaten by animals. Its navel is connected to the ground, and if it is cut off, it will die. If it is frightened by hitting something, it will scream. If the navel is broken, it will chase the water plants into a ball. " "Taiping Yulan" Volume 793 quoted a cloud: "The mountain with big headache and small headache is located in the east of Qu Zuo and the west of Shu Le. People passing by have a headache because of the heat. Summer is not feasible, winter is feasible, and they still spit. The mountain is poisonous, and the medicine gas does what it does. Winter is a dry break and feasible. " Judging from the place names and country names in the lost articles, his writing was around the Han and Jin Dynasties. At that time, with the smooth flow of the Silk Road, the exchanges between China and the West flourished, and various foreign customs about the West were also introduced into the Central Plains with the envoys of many businessmen. The records of "Native Sheep", "Headache Mountain", "Big Qin Jin" and "Moon Sheep" in Song Ying's books are unique in ancient books before the Tang Dynasty, but there are no similar records in other books. Judging from these lost articles, it is possible for Song Ying to experience the Western Regions. Zhang Zongyuan's textual research on Sui Shu's classics and records in Qing Dynasty, suspecting that Song Ying was Zhu Ying's fault, and Zhang Shu suspecting that Liang Zhou's Record of Foreign Objects was written by Song Ying [9], are all inaccurate. After textual research and comparison, the author confirms that Song Ying's Records of Foreign Things is not Liangzhou's Records of Foreign Things [10], nor is it Zhu Ying's fault. At the end of Zhang Shu's Record of Foreign Bodies in Liangzhou, there is a lost article of Song Yingshu.

Liangzhou foreign body record

The author has no exam. A roll. I lost it. Notes on Water Classics is cited as Records of Foreign Bodies in Cool Soil. Lost articles can be found in Zhu, Beginners' Notes, Taiping Magnolia, Taiping Ji, Continued Biography and other books. Judging from the lost articles, the recorded contents are not limited to Liangzhou, but also involve vast areas outside Liangzhou, such as Daqin, Gaochang, Luo Cha and Dingling. It was written in the Han and Jin Dynasties. What is lost today is mostly four-character rhyme. For example, "Taiping Magnolia" volume 865 quoted: "Yanshan has two mountains, three colors are the quality. Red people are like Dan, black people are like paint. Small and big follow the will, and the handwriting is engraved (note: red and black are small, white is big, or like a basket, it is also shaped by human actions). It is auspicious to be an animal that fights evil. It is called Rongyan, which can cure diseases (note: people in white clothes use it in all directions to disperse wind. Because it is a country of Hu, it is also salt. " There are also essays, such as "Taiping Yuhuan Ji" (volume 153): "The spring water in the county, General Li Guangli of the Second Division of the Han Dynasty cut Dawan, and the scholars were thirsty and short of water. Guangli led the sword to stab the mountain, and the flying spring gushed out to help the three armed forces. " Today, there is a collection of sheets, which are included in the Jurdon series.

Chen Qichang's foreign body record

Written by Chen Qichang. A roll. Geographical Narration of Historical Department of Shu Jing Ji Zhi of Old Tang Dynasty and Wen Zhi of New Tang Shuyi. I lost it. Chen Qichang's deeds cannot be verified. Judging from the quotation of his book, it is about people in Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties. The earliest quotation of this book is Qi Yao Min's Book by Jia Sixie in the Northern Wei Dynasty. Only the title of the book is recorded in foreign materials, but the author is not indicated. For example, the introduction of volume 10 records: "Educational Coix lachryma-jobi is actually one inch long, such as bitter orange, which is spicy and suitable for eating and drinking." This article "Taiping Yulan" (Volume 972) is quoted from Chen Qichang's "A Record of Foreign Materials". There are many lost articles about southern products such as Yizhi, Yugan, Sanlian and Sweet Potato. There are both prose and four-character poems in the lost text, such as "Magnolia Taiping" (Volume 972): "? The child's tree has four branches and leaves (note: the branches and leaves are as full as car covers). The same name is different, but it tastes sweet. This kind of fruit is seedless, but it looks like a vegetable inside. It is more important to analyze alcohol and quit smoking. " Lost articles are mainly found in Qi Yao Min Shu and Taiping Yu Lan.

Cao's Records on Foreign Bodies in Luling

Cao wrote it. There is no record in historical records, and there is no test in the volume. I lost it. Cao Shuya did not test his deeds. Judging from the quotations in his book, he was a person before the Tang Dynasty [1 1]. The Book of Beginners is cited as Cao Shu's Different Records, The Book of Taiping Universe as Lu Ling's Different Records, and Taiping Magnolia as Cao's Different Records. Lost articles recorded many products in Luling area. For example, Volume 52 of Taiping Yu Lan quotes: "yu zhang has yellow and white stones, but it is sparse. Pour water and heat it. Cook it with a tripod. If it's cold, fill it up. Asked Zhang Hua, Hua said, "This is natural. "Beginners" Volume 8, "Taiping Universe" Volume 109 Quotations: "There are mountains between the mountains of Luling, which are like people and naked. When you see people, you will leave. Men and women can be four or five feet long, can call each other, and often live in seclusion, like ghosts. " Lost articles can be found in beginner's notes, literature and art, magnolia in peace, Yuhuan in peace and other books.

South foreign body record

The author is unknown, and there is no test in the volume. I lost it. According to the lost citation, the book was written in Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties. The earliest reference to this book is Qi's Yao Min Shu. The lost articles recorded many southern products, such as bananas, spiny bamboos and parrots. For example, The Book of Qi Yao Min (volume 10) quoted the Cloud of Things in the South: "A spiny bamboo is seven or eight feet long and as big as a scorpion." Another example is the Book of Beginners (Volume 30), which quotes Clouds of Foreign Objects in the South: "There are three kinds of parrots, one is as big as a black mortar, the other is as white as an owl, and the other is five colors. Older than young people, Banan, Jiaozhou and Wuse all have them, and they are all treasures. Every bird has four fingers, three forward and all the way back, and this bird points backwards. " There are quotations in Qi Yaomin's Book, Notes for Beginners, Sounds and Meanings of Various Classics, Taiping Yulan and other books. Judging from this book, it has the same name as Fang's Records of Foreign Things in Donnan, but it is earlier than Fang's book, so we should pay attention to the differences.

Sun Chang's foreign body record

Sun Chang wrote it. Historical records are not contained, and the number of volumes is unknown. Sun Chang, his behavior has not been tested. There is only one lost article in his book, which is quoted from Volume 30 of the Book of Beginners: "Parrots are light green or purple, and their beaks are as deep as owls. Walking like a pigeon and talking about energy efficiency is very expensive. " Parrots are mostly in the south, so it is known that Sun Chang's "History of Foreign Things" records southern products.

Foreign body record in South China

The author and the number of volumes are unknown, and there is no historical record. I lost it. There is a lost article in the volume 16 of various classics: "yu zhang was born seven years ago. If it is a ship, it will compete with the dragon. " According to the south, ancient times generally refers to Sichuan, Guizhou and Yunnan, and also refers to Lingnan. Zhang Yu was born in the south. Historical Records Biography of Sima Xiangru: "In the north, there are huge trees in the shade forest, standing in the south of Henan." Zhang Shoujie's "Justice": "Press, warm the cloud: Yu, the sleeper today; Zhang, today's Zhangmu also. When Ermu was seven years old, the pillow and Zhang Naike were separated. "

Foreign body records in eight counties of South China

The author and the number of volumes are unknown, and the historical records are not recorded. I lost it. There is a lost article in Volume 924 of Taiping Yu Lan: "Jade is bigger than swallows, and its belly is pure red. People prey on it, I don't know if it is expensive. " The annotation of "The History of the Later Han Dynasty, Peaceful Magnolia" also quoted the Records of Eight Counties in South China. For example, The Biography of Nan Man Southwest Yi Lie quotes the cloud of Eight Counties in South China: "Raccoons are as big as donkeys and bear-shaped. It is full of strength, eats iron and pulls everything it touches. " Another cloud said, "The He Qiong River is 20 miles wide and 100 feet deep. What a big fish, one or two feet long, with a big head, looks like an iron kettle from a distance. " It also records southern products. When the ancients quoted books, they often called them provincial names. This "Eight Counties of South China" is probably the provincial name of "Eight Counties of South China".

Yulin foreign body record

The author and the number of volumes are unknown, and the historical records are not recorded. I lost it. There are two missing articles. Liu Zhou, a cow with a big belly and a sharp head and tail, looks like a big pig. Volume 29 of Beginners' Record is cited as Foreign Body Record, the cow is a buffalo, and the rest are the same. And the author's name is not marked. "Event Notes Volume 22 quotes:" Those who stay for several weeks are actually buffaloes. Pale hair like a dagger, horns like a spear. Defend its calves and be enemies of the tiger. "Although the two lost articles are the same, their styles are different, which is similar to the situation in the above-mentioned Foreign Records of Zhou Nan.

Guangzhou foreign body record

The author and the number of volumes are unknown, and the historical records are not recorded, which has been lost. There is a lost article in Volume 938 of Taiping Yu Lan: "Crocodile is more than 20 feet, with four feet, a beak seven feet long and sharp teeth. Tigers and deer crossed the water, crocodiles hit them, and they all broke their beaks and lost their teeth. "

Guo's Records of Foreign Objects

The author and the number of volumes are unknown, and the historical records are not recorded. I lost it. There is a lost article in Taiping Guangji (Volume 2 10): "Zhang Hengzi Hirako, a native of Wanxi County, was gifted, fond of Ming and good at writing. Tired of service, he became the king of Hejian at the age of 62. Once upon a time, there was a terrible beast on the mountain in Mancheng County, Jianzhou. It was ugly and covered with ghosts. Good water stone. Ping Zi wrote that wild animals enter the water. It's still a cloud. This animal is afraid to write, so he can't write it. Then get a pen and paper, and the animal fruit will come out. Ping Zi hand motionless, dive to the place where enough to draw a finger. Today, it is called Bashu Beach. " The contents recorded in this article are different from those recorded in previous foreign languages. It is not a true description of the customs of the product, but an anecdote about the relevant people. The narrative attitude has also changed. This is a sign that foreign objects have gradually transformed from geographical and natural miscellaneous notes into strange novels.

Shen Ruyun's Record of Foreign Bodies

By Tang Shen Rujun. The Book of the New Tang Dynasty, the Records of Arts and Literature, and the General Catalogue of Chongwen consist of three volumes. Song History, Art and Literature, two volumes. I lost it. Shen Rujun, a native of Jurong (now Jiangxi) in the early Tang Dynasty, was the master book of Hengyang. There is a poem title. According to his poem "Send a Taoist to the Tiantai", he is called Xuanzong. It can be inferred that when his book is classified as a sub-novel, it is different from the early records of foreign objects. The missing article has not been cited. Cheng Yizhong's "A Brief History of Ancient Novels" said that there was a lost article in "Taiping Guangji", namely "Records of Foreign Objects". However, when we look up Guang Ji, there are no missing articles in the book of God, and there are six articles in Tai Ping Guang Ji. These lost articles are not Shen Shi's works either in Nan Zhou's History of Foreign Things, or in Song Ying's History of Foreign Things, or in the long history. In addition, China's "A Summary of Classical Chinese Novels" said that the records of foreign objects cited in "Records of the Broken Sea" were Shen Shi's works. After investigation, Hai Lu Po Shi cited four foreign affairs records, volume 22 cited Orange Official and volume 15 cited Wolf? People? Gold "and" Beginner "are cited as yangfu's Record of Foreign Bodies; The articles in Muniao and Shandu on Volume 22 all recorded the Luling incident, which seems to be an article in Cao Wailu. The same volume is cited as "Niu Yu" in Foreign History, which was actually produced in the third volume of Natural History. In this way, there is no record of Shen Rujun's foreign objects in Broken Things in the Sea.

Meng Yan's Records of Foreign Bodies in Lingnan

Tang Meng wrote it. A roll. New Tang Shu Yi Wen Zhi and Song Shi Yi Wen Zhi belong to the geography category of the history department, while Chongwen Mu Zong belongs to the novel category of the sub-department. I lost it. Meng? , Tang Chenzhou people, Yuan He Jinshi. "Taiping Magnolia" quotes more than ten articles from "Lingnan Foreign Records" without the author's name, which is regarded as Meng's writings. Taiping Guangji was also cited as a foreign language record. According to the lost article, the products in the south are shrimp, crab, plum and so on. Many stories are like novels. For example, "Tai Ping Guang Ji" (Volume 977) quoted Cai Rubu as saying: "There is no frost and snow in the southern soil, and life is no longer withered. Eggplant will not die for ten years. The child climbed up to pick it. This tree is two feet high. " Volume 980 quotes again: "Tang Meng? I tried to buy mustard on the ridge and forgot to eat it under the wall. After a few days, they all had four feet, a head and a tail, and they could walk, as big as scorpions, but with a thin waist. " The twenty-ninth volume of Shuo Wen Jie Zi quoted: "The big fish in the south, the sound is thunder, the gas is wind, and the saliva is fog." There are lost articles in Magnolia in Taiping, Guang Ji in Taiping and Zhu Fu in Shi Lei. [1 1] Fang's Record of Foreign Bodies in the South was written by Tang Fang Qianli. A roll. It records the geographical categories of the history department of the new Tang Shuyi Wenzhi, the novel category of the sub-department of Song Shiyi Wenzhi, and the geographical category of the history department of Chongwen in Mu Zong. I lost it. Fang, a native of Henan, is a Yamato Jinshi. Former secretary of Duanzhou and Gaozhou. According to the records in Taiping Yulan, there are several lost articles in the Records of Foreign Things in the South, all of which record parrots, turtles and other things, which are the same as all the classics, sounds and meanings cited in the Records of Beginners. Fang is a Yamato scholar. His articles were not properly published in Beginners and Various Classics, but were quoted in Taiping Yulan, which should be the lost article of the aforementioned Anonymous Record of Foreign Bodies in the South, not Fang's. Compendium of Materia Medica (Volume 34) Turn to (Jia? The Supplement to Materia Medica is quoted from Xunlu in the Records of Southern Foreign Languages, which is similar to the one quoted from Zhou Nan Foreign Languages Records in the volume of Taiping Yulan in 1982, but it is not a document of Southern Foreign Languages Records. Judging from the records in Historical Records, The Tale of Things in the South is different from the two books, which shows that its content has the characteristics of both geographical miscellaneous notes and novels, which can be regarded as both geographical miscellaneous notes and novels, at least it is not serious geographical miscellaneous notes, and it is similar to Meng Yan's Tale of Things in the South of the Mountain. Fang's lost article has not been seen so far.

Records of foreign bodies on the mountain surface

The author is unknown. A roll. The geographical description of the history department of The Book of Changes in Song Dynasty. I lost it. As far as its description is concerned, it is more likely to be written in the Song Dynasty, but it cannot be ruled out that it was written for the Tang people. Judging from the title of the book, the content should mainly record the customs of Lingnan products. The missing text of his book has not been found yet.

The above is a preliminary study on the general situation of 22 kinds of foreign chronicles lost in Han and Tang Dynasties. The author, year of completion, content, description, main content, style and lost quotation of each book are basically the same as above. Due to incomplete materials, the order after 38 1 can only be inferred according to the author's age and the time of citation and description, and it is roughly arranged in chronological order. Please correct me if there is anything wrong.

About the historical, cultural and documentary significance of the works of Historical Records, the author has another special article to discuss it, and I won't repeat it here because of the space limitation.
