I don't have a child's ID card. Can I borrow books with my hukou book?
If citizens need to borrow books from the library, they generally need to provide a valid second-generation ID card and scan the chip data to borrow books. If the child is under the age of 16 and does not have an ID card, the guardian can borrow books with the ID card, or directly consult the local library about whether to use the household registration book. Considering that most areas need to use resident identity cards at this stage, it is recommended to apply for resident identity cards for children.
