3, common problems and solutions
① The position of the folding line does not coincide with the color dividing line: the influence of paper thickness on the folding quality must be considered when designing the folding product. Generally speaking, in multiple folds, the page size of the inner fold must be slightly smaller than the outer page, that is, the design department must give some cutting compensation to increase the actual cutting amount. If the compensation amount is too small. The inner pages will interfere with other pages because they are too large, and the pages will collide with each other, making the outer pages arch and tilt, and the whole book will not be so flat. Therefore, for multiple folds, it is best to make it clear in the design process.

As for me, I work in a box-making class, specifically as a general worker in a printing factory. It belongs to the lowest level of work. It is very complicated to dry the carton, take the template, hang the template, dismantle the template, wash the ink and clean it.
I was shocked as soon as I arrived at the factory. The old staff said that we were the sixth batch of students who came to work. Five batches came before, all because they couldn't do it. I thought: How tired is this job? How long can I do it? I went to the first night shift with doubts. I felt very excited at that time, and I didn't feel very tired. But after work, when I lie in bed, I feel very tired. However, since we are here, we must stick to the end! In fact, we not only persisted until the end, but also were praised by the leaders, saying that we did a good job and no one was fooling around here. So, the factory also gave us a raise!
Life at work is bittersweet, full of happiness and pain, but my gains are enormous. Have a deeper understanding of reality, make yourself more mature and steady, and have no illusions. Reality is reality without any illusions. I still remember what the head teacher told us at that time: now we are different from the school in society. Rotation learning
During the rotation, I learned the basic process of printing in the company: manuscript, prepress preparation, printing, postpress treatment, product selection and warehousing.
1. Business personnel get manuscripts from customers.
The business department is mainly divided into customer service and business, mainly to communicate with customers, get the production notice in the factory according to the requirements of customers, and carry out trial production and proofing. After the samples are submitted to the customer for confirmation, the customer's order is received, a production notice is issued, submitted to the production planning department for review and confirmation, and then the production management department arranges production. In the whole process, the sales department personnel should follow up the order in time to ensure timely delivery.
2. Prepress preparation
The so-called prepress preparation is a series of preparatory work before formal printing, including layout review design, printing plate making, knife mold making, material ink preparation and so on. Adequate prepress preparation is the premise to ensure normal printing.
The first point of prepress preparation is prepress art design, that is, layout review design. First of all, it must meet the requirements of customers, including patterns and characters. Second, the design and typesetting are reasonable to meet the requirements of printing and post-production. The former is to meet customers, and the latter is to meet the production needs of printing houses, both of which are indispensable. During the internship, I mainly learned about the working standards and workflow of prepress artists, such as sheet review, art design, art QC, color separation QC, imposition, knife painting, film output and so on. , and understand the working standards of each process. At the same time, I also learned how to convert the electronic documents provided by customers into the general electronic documents of the company, and there are many things I don't know, such as what is white-out, bleeding, full version, glue killing, trapping and so on. In typesetting and imposition, the typesetting width must be within the printing range of the printing press, and as many typesetting as possible, so that the printing efficiency can be greatly improved at the same printing speed. There are also two kinds of output films: plate-making film, which is mainly used for plate-making; Cut the film together to proofread the knife marks, pictures and texts. The workflow of film output: typesetting, exposure, film feeding, development, fixing, washing, drying, film release, film inspection and scanning. ?
Plate making, mainly CDI plate making, CTP plate making and screen plate making. I mainly know the process of screen making: screen opening, cleaning, emulsion coating and printing. In the process of learning, I also learned about the types, specifications and selection conditions of screens and borders. We also know the characteristics and uses of chemicals used in plate making, such as degreasing agent, ghost liquid and film stripping powder, which are mainly used for cleaning regenerated screen plates, and repairing agent, which is soluble in water and mainly used for repairing screen plates when quotation is found to be defective. Photosensitive emulsion will harden when exposed to ultraviolet rays, and is mainly used for printing plates. In addition, I also learned the use process of the regenerated version, the operation steps of the screen exposure machine and the operation steps of the developing stage.
In the production management department, I mainly understand the operation content and process of the production management department: document review (production order number, card number, manufacturing process, knife allocation, version, ink, materials), raw material ingredients, and production management scheduling table. If there is a shortage of materials, the production management department needs to coordinate with the sales staff and raw material personnel, and if it cannot deliver the goods on time, it needs to outsource the work. The recycling management department also learned about the types and coding principles of knife dies, as well as the production process and management standards of knife dies.
In the ink matching class, I mainly studied the process and operation standards of screen printing, letterpress printing and lithography. The ink used in screen printing is solvent-based ink, and the drying method is mainly hot air drying, while relief printing and lithography mainly use UV ink, and the drying method is ultraviolet drying. In this department, I learned about the types of ink and the characteristics of different inks. Ink matching process of silk screen printing: check list, judge spot color, find ink, judge ink quantity and formulate ink formula. In this process, the experience of ink matching personnel is particularly important, but compared with it, UV ink matching process is simpler and more accurate. UV ink color matching process: spectrometer color separation, weighing ink of each color, stirring, spectrometer color development, UV drying and color matching.
In the course of materials, I mainly studied the properties of various materials and how to know them. The understanding of materials is mainly divided into surface materials, stickers, backing paper and plates. It is also known that materials are made by other methods, such as hand-fitting, toughness, surface treatment, flexibility, measuring thickness and viscosity, burning and smell according to the color, transparency and surface smoothness of materials. At the same time, I also learned how to test new materials with instruments to see if they are qualified.
The company's printing is mainly letterpress printing (rotary printing, trademark printing), lithography and screen printing. I mainly studied the printing principle of these printing methods, as well as the printing operation process and operation standard. In relief printing, the ink supply device of the printing machine first distributes the ink evenly, and then transfers the ink to the printing plate through the ink roller. Because the graphic part on the relief is much higher than the non-graphic part on the printing plate, the ink on the ink roller can only be transferred to the graphic part of the printing plate, and the non-graphic part has no ink. The paper feeding mechanism of the printing machine conveys the paper to the printing part of the printing machine. Under the action of printing plate device and embossing device, the ink in the graphic part of printing plate is transferred to the substrate, thus completing the printing of printed matter. There is no difference between the printed part and the non-printed part, which is flat. Based on the principle that water and oil are immiscible, the printed part retains an oily oil film, while the layout on the non-printed part can absorb appropriate moisture. Suppose that after printing ink on the layout, the printing part repels the water-absorbing ink, and the non-printing part absorbs water to form ink resistance. The method of printing in this way is called lithography. The principle of screen printing: the silk fabric is stretched on the screen frame to synthesize fiber fabric or metal screen, and the screen printing plate is made of photosensitive material, so that the screen holes in the graphic part of the screen printing plate are through holes, but the screen holes in the non-graphic part are blocked. When printing, the ink is transferred to the substrate through the grid of the graphic part, forming the same graphic as the original.
4. Post-press processing
Post-press processing, such as lamination, glazing, shredding and waste removal, can be performed at the same time as printing by a printing machine, or lamination, lamination and shredding can be performed by a separate laminator.

Mainly check the material, quantity, printing quality and cutting type of products for burrs. Because the company's requirements for product quality are very strict, any product that does not meet the customer's requirements is unqualified during inspection.

After nearly a month and a half of internship, what impressed me most was that our colleagues in Huaguan were very enthusiastic. Every time I go to other departments to study, from leaders to colleagues, I will answer questions enthusiastically and patiently in a way that our newcomers can accept. In our office, it goes without saying that my host and other colleagues also take care of me. I just went there and didn't know anything. They all taught me patiently. After so many days of study, at least now I have a general understanding of what needs to be done before printing. Understand the printing principle of different processes, and know how to convert the documents processed by artists into printing plates or films and the corresponding printing processes. Of course, during this time, I also made many mistakes. When I first went to machine learning, I didn't understand a lot of things and didn't know what I needed to learn, so I went back soon and got Master's approval.
