Heyuan City Heyuan Middle School:

Heyuan City Heyuan Middle School is a public full-time ordinary high school headed by Heyuan Education Bureau. It is a first-class school in Guangdong Province and a national model ordinary high school in Guangdong Province.

Heyuan City Heyuan Middle School was formerly Heyuan County Middle School and was founded in 19 15. 1949 was renamed "Heyuan Middle School", and 1955 moved to the current school site. 1978 school was awarded the title of "advanced unit in education front in Huiyang area" and was redefined as a key middle school in Heyuan county.

1988, Heyuan city division, Heyuan middle school belongs to the management of Yuancheng district. From 65438 to 0993, Heyuan Middle School was taken over by the municipal government and became a school directly under the city. At the same time, it was renamed Heyuan Middle School in Heyuan City. As of July, 2065438+2008, the school covers an area of about130,000 square meters with a building area of 60,000 square meters. By the end of 2022, there were 340 faculty members, 75 classes and 3980 students.

The school plans to merge the existing campus of Heyuan Vocational and Technical School (City Open University) for expansion and upgrading, with a total area of 6.5438+0.24 million square meters. It is planned to be fully completed in 2025, and 2000 high school degrees can be added after completion.

By May, 20 19, the campus was divided into three areas: teaching, sports and life, with a library, an indoor gymnasium, a self-service bank, a geography laboratory and a maker center, eight 400-meter standard track and field courts and more than a dozen basketball and badminton courts.

The school plans to merge the existing site of Heyuan Vocational and Technical School (City Open University) for expansion and upgrading. The main construction contents include the expansion of teachers' turnover room and art building in the river, the renovation of sports ground and underground parking lot, the upgrading of some education and teaching equipment, the renovation of teachers' turnover room in municipal vocational schools, and the comprehensive upgrading of school education and teaching facilities and equipment.

As of September, 20 19, there were 336 full-time teachers in Heyuan middle school, including 3 special-grade teachers, 1 full-time teacher 1 name, 22 senior teacher 122, and 33 teachers with graduate education. Nine teachers, including Zeng, were rated as "Chief Teachers of Heyuan City". By the end of 2022, there were 340 teaching and administrative staff, including 325 employees, 90 retirees and temporary employees 17.
