That year, the weather was unusually hot than in previous years, and the dormitory was like a big stove, sweating like rain in it. So I went to the school library properly, euphemistically called "reviewing exams", which actually had two purposes: rubbing the air conditioner and seeing my sister. It's another year, and the weather is surprisingly hot than usual. Although there is a fan in the dormitory, it is still steaming like a steamer. So, I went to the school library properly, euphemistically called "collecting documents", but in fact the purpose was still two: rubbing the air conditioner and seeing my sister. By this year, the weather in Beijing is indeed hotter than in previous years. Although the dormitory is air-conditioned, it is open 24 hours a day, which is enough to buy several books a month. So, I went to the school library properly, euphemistically called "downloading materials", but the purpose was ~ ~ you know ~ to go to Qiu Lai in spring and come back from the solstice in summer in winter. In the past 10 years, I remembered the three libraries that appeared in my life, the books I read in these three libraries, and the changes that these books brought to my life.

It turns out that everything has a "root" and everything has a "number".

Ten years ago, I was admitted to the university. The school is located in a coastal city, elegant, quiet, fashionable and modern, with green trees, red tiles, blue sea and blue sky everywhere. The school library has just been built halfway up the mountain, and the blue sea can be seen vaguely in the distance.

Unfortunately, during my four years in college, I didn't even have 1/4 in the library, or even less than 1/40. I won't set foot in the library for the rest of this semester except for two weeks of surprise in the library during the final exam. When I read 800 books in four years in college, I may not have finished reading 20 books in four years in college. But 1 book has had an indelible impact on my university and my life. This book is called Zhu Xian. During my four years in college, I have read this book at least eight times, with a total length of 6,543,800 words. Calculated, the reading volume is also more than 6.5438+million. Once, in order to read, I watched countless days and nights with my mobile phone or mp4 or paper books (there were no smart phones, ipad and various reading apps at that time), read over and over again, and immersed myself in it over and over again. At that time, Shanda Company released an online game with the same name "Zhu Xian", so playing games online and reading books with the same name offline became the standard of my university for four years, and it was also countless nights spent in Internet cafes, brushing strange things, upgrading, my Zhu Xian and my world.

This book and this game used to be the most important part of my university, even ignoring the study, exams, all kinds of positive styles and competitions, all kinds of meaningful internships and activities, and even ignoring the beautiful spring, summer, autumn and winter and the bustling world of that coastal city. In this way, with this book, year after year, year after year.

It was not until graduation that my whole class went to the library to take pictures as a souvenir that I remembered that I should read a book in the library. Sitting in a window seat, wearing headphones, listening to music, watching the looming sea in the distance.

Moreover, there is Zhu Xian in the university library.

Six years ago, I got a master's degree. The school is located in the desolate northwest plateau. It takes 27 hours by train from my hometown coastal town. After experiencing the flowers in the east, the vastness in the middle and the simplicity in the west, I came to the vast and lonely northwest with the breath of the sea.

The master's school is located in the bustling area of the local provincial capital, but the school library is located in the corner of the school, full of noise; Moreover, the school is a century-old prestigious school and the library has a history of more than 50 years. Sitting in the library, you can only see a few roads and buildings around you, accompanied by old steps, classrooms and seats, as if you had returned to the last century.

Unfortunately, after three years of master's degree, my time in the library is less than 1/3, but it definitely exceeds 1/30. During my master's degree, except for the final exam, I do go to the school library to read books and find some materials, but the number of times is very few.

I have read no more than 50 books in the past three years. But among them, another book has changed my three-year career, even my lifelong hobby. This book is called Ten Years of Backpacking.

Because of this book, I found that the same world is not only wonderful in front of me. In this world, at the same time, different things are happening

When you wrote PPT, Alaska cod was jumping out of the water; When reading the report, the golden monkey in Meili Snow Mountain just climbed to the top of the tree; When you squeeze into the subway, the shadow of Tibet has circled in the clouds; When you quarreled in the meeting, Nepalese backpackers picked up their glasses and sat by the fire together.

So, in those years, I traveled all over the land of northwest and southwest, hiking 8 thousand kilometers, crossing Qinghai-Tibet, Sichuan-Tibet line and Qinghai-Tibet line twice, as well as the beautiful deserts of Gannan, northern Sichuan and Dunhuang. Every inch of land is touched by conscience, respected and measured by both feet. Holy city Lhasa, holy lake Namco, holy land Lumbini, Kathmandu, Qinghai Lake, Chaka Salt Lake, Mogao Grottoes, Jiayuguan, beautiful Xiahe and Labrang.

Year after year, when I was pregnant with this book, I walked and walked until graduation, when we went to the library to photograph graduation photo. I stood in front of the library and remembered the three years I spent here. In this 50-year-old library, it was just a blink of an eye.

I just found out that I thought I had traveled all over the northwest world, only to find that I had never walked every row of shelves in the library. Moreover, in the row of bookshelves I haven't walked, there is a book, a ten-year backpacking trip.

A year ago, I was admitted to the doctor's degree. The school is located in Beijing, the imperial capital in the middle of the motherland. I ran all the way from the bustling northwest to Beijing, like a hillbilly. Unexpectedly, after three years of sight, the outside world has undergone earth-shaking changes. The school is located in a very ordinary place in the northeast of Beijing. There is nothing to highlight in the school library. There are ordinary buildings, ordinary decorations, ordinary locations and a group of ordinary people.

Over the past year, I seldom go to the library, although the distance is less than 200 meters. If it hadn't been too hot in Beijing recently, I don't think I would have come to the library to rub the air conditioner. When I watched it as hot as a steamer outside, I was still barely warm in my pants and coat in the library. For this feeling, I think I will come again in the future.

Although the time in the library may not even be1100 this year, I have read more than 200 books this year, and it is generally difficult to say which one is my favorite. But I am firm, because my book has really changed my life in the past year and beyond. This book is called Xiaomi Sha.

After traveling in Tibetan areas for three years, my belief in Tibetan Buddhism has changed from ordinary people to a sincere belief in awe. Although there is no in-depth study of Buddhism, the teaching methods of Master Zong Kaba are also influencing an ordinary Han nationality.

Charity, discipline, patience, diligence, meditation and wisdom will be my lifelong practice. I am also looking forward to returning to Tibetan areas and the holy city of Lhasa, and having a heart-to-heart encounter with the snowy plateau.

Borrow a passage from Douban to end: We can't walk out in the secular world, only care about daily necessities, reincarnation and six-character mantra. Facing the snowy plateau and the holy land where the gods live, there will be a yearning and awe. This yearning and awe make it impossible for us to really face this magical land and listen to Brahma, who has been a child since ancient times. Finally, up to now, I haven't found this little novice monk in the present library.

Maybe I'll show up when I graduate.
