Why is Fei Ming's introduction and Fei Ming not as famous as Shen Congwen?
Fei Ming (190 1- 1967), formerly known as Feng Wenbing, is one of the most influential writers in the history of China literature in the 20th century. He is a member of the Silk Society and studied under Zhou Zuoren. He is known as the originator of "Beijing School Literature" in the history of literature.

Stories in the Bamboo Grove, published by 1925, is his first collection of novels. Later, he wrote novels one after another: Biography of Mr. Mo (1932), Bridge (1926- 1937) and After Mr. Mo flew.

Fei Ming's novels are known as "prose culture", which combines the thoughts of the Six Dynasties, Tang poetry, Song poetry and modernism and puts them into practice. The text is simple and profound, with dull and boring beauty.

Later, inspired by Hu Shi, Zhou Zuoren and others, the influence of Zen culture in Fei Ming's potential hometown was fully activated, and the relationship between Fei Ming and Zen was closer and stronger.

Extended data:

Shen Congwen's novel creation was deeply influenced by Fei Ming. Fei Ming,1901-1967, formerly known as Feng Wenbing, was a writer in Huangmei, Hubei. When Shen Congwen was growing up in the 1920s, he wrote many works, but almost none of them were mature. They are the exercises, attempts and imitations of many teachers.

Shen himself admitted that he was influenced by the Fei Ming: there was a postscript to Couple (the income collection Couple was written in July 1929 and changed to June 1933), and then Dog Collection (Shanghai Dadong Bookstore 1934).

Fei Ming is an ego writer. Many people often use the word "obscure" to criticize his writing. The author thinks that its essence is "self". His writing is very self-centered and self-interested. As a result, it is difficult for ordinary readers to understand and is recognized as obscure. A self-enclosed person will not recognize the general expression, even if it is generally recognized and understood by everyone.

Fei Ming likes to express and write in his own unique way. His education supports his expression. However, it cannot be completely said that the narrative style of Fei Ming's original novels, such as The Story of Bamboo Forest and Taoyuan, was close to the general style at that time. Only in the later "Bridge" and "Biography of Mr. Xu Mo You" did he embark on a very self-centered road and wander about his own style and expression.

Shen Congwen and his wife, written in 1929, have a postscript with the signature "Chen Jia" (one of Shen Congwen's pen names), which says: "I sometimes feel that there are two styles of writing articles, one of which, writing in the countryside, seems to be similar to Mr. Fei Ming.

Personally, I am influenced by Mr. Fei Ming, but the style is slightly different, because only Mr. Fei Ming can write lyrics so economically.

This article has this trace again. Read more of my articles, and those who are happy with Mr. Fei Ming's articles will surely find the subtle differences between them, so that I haven't written an article for two months, and add this ending to record my joy at this moment.

Shen Congwen was delighted that he had written a rural theme similar to Fei Ming's, and frankly admitted that he was influenced by Fei Ming. This is easy to understand. Fei Ming is a student of Peking University, a disciple of Tang Zhi and a colleague of Yusi. 1929 became a teacher of Peking University after graduation.

When Shen Congwen wrote Couple, Fei Ming was editing camel grass. Comparatively speaking, Fei Ming's position and fame in the literary world at that time were much greater than Shen Congwen's. Shen Congwen is still rising, and Fei Ming's position has been established. However, people will change and evolve. Some people have masterpieces and masterpieces as soon as they debut, and some people reach the peak through continuous study and hard work. Shen Congwen belongs to the latter.

For Shen Congwen, 1929 was a turning point in his life. In the second half of the year, with the support of Hu Shi, he entered China College to teach, finally got a fixed income, and began to fall in love with Zhang Zhaohe. Economy is no longer the driving force of creation, but his position has increased his confidence and broadened his horizons.

The level of learning from Hu Shi by friends is immeasurable for his growth. Before this period, most of Shen Congwen's literary creations were immature, thoughtless, flawed and imitated by others. His novels are also groping, and there are naturally not many excellent works. The only mature works are Hotel, The Day Before Escape and Couple.

Before 1930, Shen Congwen and Fei Ming had some overlap in words, but there was no substantive communication. In "On Feng Wenbing" included in "Dog Collection", he compared the similarities and differences between himself and Fei Ming: "It is generally recognized that the closest thing is the author himself.

One is because of the same observation of the countryside, and the other is because of the same local customs and habits. However, from the same direction, writing articles with the same simple style and landscape painting, but the style is the same as that of' the same author who doesn't speak grammar' as someone at another time said, and the result is still different in the works. "

In fact, On Feng Wenbing can be regarded as Shen Congwen's "ending". Regarding Mr. Xu You's biography, he said: "Apart from the pleasure of personal writing and the hobby of getting sick with two or three lovers, this kind of work is just a work that kills the author's energy." It should be said that Shen Congwen has advanced and risen at this time, and he no longer appreciates the Fei Ming at that time. ?
