Like the author, most of my lonely childhood was accompanied by flowers, birds, fish and insects. I especially thank my parents for their free-range education before I went to primary school. I can go out every day and play alone in the wild. At that time, I often stayed in the garden in the front and back yard of my home, in the flower beds in the kindergarten or in the bushes in the neighborhood. The neighbor's camellia always blooms beautifully, and the vines in his yard always bear a lot of crystal clear green grapes when they bear fruit. Milan planted in my yard is often full of fragrance. Later, I grew up and planted Milan, but it didn't even taste! There are beautiful green onions in the backyard garden. Was that when I was born to like orchids? There are henna dyed nails in the garden, and all kinds of flowers and leaves are often used as props in my home, such as red flowers for sticking to my nose, purple jasmine flowers for earrings, and winter jasmine flowers for garlands. The swimming pool in kindergarten is always full of romantic red five-star flowers in midsummer, which gives me the best enlightenment of nature education and makes me learn inexhaustible happiness from animals and plants all my life.
Nature Notes made me realize that I have always been wrong about dandelion. I didn't believe it when my friend who was doing plant research told me the other day that it was not dandelion but "yellow quail dish". After all, how can I be wrong about dandelion, which has been deeply rooted for 30 years? ! Once again, I can only be persuaded in this book. The book also brought me some interesting new knowledge of animal and plant protection: for example, when the calyx of perilla is subjected to external force, the seeds stuck in the fur of the calyx will be ejected like shells. And I finally understand why moths always revolve around the lamp, because moths drive light from the moon, and they hover towards the moon in the primitive state of nature. It is because they regard luminous objects such as lamps as the moon that they always revolve around them.
The author told us that if she didn't take a pen to observe and record carefully, she might, like many people who visit the park, ignore the seemingly insignificant plant fruits and seeds. Taking natural notes can find many special places in everything. Only by taking a pen to describe can we find differences that are more difficult to find than cursory viewing and taking pictures. Nature notes are a good way to help us study. I hope I can have a chance to calm down and take pure natural notes in the future.
