Journal of Xiangtan University (divided into philosophy and social science edition and natural science edition) was selected as "double-effect periodical" and "double-hundred periodical" in China periodical square, among which Journal of Social Science was selected as the source periodical of CSSCI, the core periodical of humanities and social sciences in China and the top 100 periodicals in China.

Journals founded on the basis of characteristic disciplines and dominant disciplines, such as Consumer Economy, Mao Zedong Studies, China Phonology Magazine, Xiangjiang Law Review, Zeng Guofan Studies and Xiangxue, have great influence in academic circles. Among them, China Journal of Phonology and Rhyme was included in the outline of core journals in China.

Xiangtan University Library is a member library of China Higher Education Document Guarantee System (CALIS) and an advanced library in China. As of June 20 14, our library has printed more than 29 kinds of documents, and now it has published 3424 kinds.
