Raolan's resume
Influenced by his father Rao Bingcai (a professor at the College of Literature of Jinan University, a famous linguist in China) and his mother Zhou Zhiying (a music teacher and an associate researcher in the university library), Rao Lan loved singing since childhood. 19 years old went to Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong to perform with the Shanghai Orchestra, and then studied at the Central Conservatory of Music for three years with Tang Xuegeng and Chen Lin. In the early 1980s, as the head of Berlin Philharmonic, Helmut Steen, a famous German violinist, discovered Raolan's musical potential when he came to China to perform with conductor karajan. Rao Lan won a scholarship for seven years. She received a master's degree from Frankfurt Conservatory of Music and a master's degree from Munich Conservatory of Music. During this period, Rao Lan also won the first prize and solo prize in international competitions twice, and performed around the world in cooperation with internationally renowned conductors and top orchestras. At the same time, she is often favored by the best modern composers in Europe, America and China, and invited to perform her new works in the world or Europe.
