Beijing Institute of Printing is a Beijing Institute of Printing approved by the Beijing Municipal People's Government and the State Press and Publication Administration. It is a high-tech discipline construction university in Beijing, a national green printing and packaging industry collaborative innovation base, a national publishing and printing senior talent training base, and a Beijing cultural and creative industry talent training base. It has a national experimental teaching demonstration center; Executive Vice Chairman of the Teaching Steering Committee of Publishing Specialty in Colleges and Universities and the subordinate units of the Secretariat; China Printing Technology Association, Jingnan University Alliance, China Printing Higher Education Alliance, National Printing and Electronic Industry Technology Innovation Alliance and other organizations initiated and presided over the unit, and members of CDIO Engineering Education Alliance were selected as excellent engineers' education and training plans and new engineering research and practice projects.

China Printing Museum and China Map Library (Publication Information Center of the Propaganda Department of the Communist Party of China) are located on campus. The school has obvious advantages and characteristics in three fields: printing and packaging, publishing and communication, and design art.
