Shandong University is a well-known comprehensive university with a long history in China and one of the key universities directly under the Ministry of Education. Its predecessor was 190 1, the official Shandong University Hall founded in Jinan in the 27th year of Guangxu reign of Qing Dynasty. Since its establishment, Shandong University has experienced two historical stages: semi-colonial and semi-feudal society and socialist society, from the late Qing Dynasty to People's Republic of China (PRC). During the period, it was renamed many times, and there were many changes such as closure, reconstruction, joint school and relocation. Various universities were admitted in different periods, and more than ten colleges and universities were divided into disciplines.

It is said that Shandong University has several campuses. The campus next to the Hongjialou Church we went to had nothing but street signs (Zhumin Road, Constitution Road, etc.). There is a small river ditch on campus, which has also dried up.

We went to Hongjialou Campus of Shanda University. We came out of Hongjialou Catholic Church at that time, and we happened to have lunch in Shanda next door. Interestingly, Shandong University has campuses all over Jinan.
