The office space of the Library of Congress, like the Library of Congress, is the embodiment of tradition, politics and individuality. Although the Library of Congress was established in 1800, the actual workplace was not built until 1802. In the law before 1897, the responsibilities of librarians were not clearly defined, and other special qualifications were not stipulated.
