In parent-child reading, we constantly sum up our reading experience and form some reading methods suitable for our families.

One is fixed reading time. We use 8: 30 pm to 9: 00 pm as a fixed time for parent-child reading. During this time, the children have finished their homework and previewed their homework, the parents have finished their chores at home, turned off the TV and computer, and the family strolled in the book together and enjoyed reading.

The second is to choose reading posture. We adopted the "snuggling" parent-child mode, in a comfortable bed or sofa, let the children snuggle up to their parents, and parents hold their children with their hands, touch their heads and pat their little faces from time to time, creating a reading atmosphere with strong family ties.

Third, pay attention to the intonation of reading aloud. When reading to children, we should avoid a peaceful tone, pay attention to reading with expression and slow down the reading pace.

The fourth is to prepare reading guidance. According to children's reading level, the book is divided into three different areas: intensive reading, selective reading and skimming, focusing on making children understand the essence of the book. Because the reading time is not long, we should pay attention to the arrangement, so we might as well find a place to stop while reading. Arouse children's appetite and increase their interest in reading.

We are slowly changing from passive reading to active reading in parent-child reading, and parent-child reading is becoming a good habit in our family. In the future, we will continue to improve ways and means to further stimulate children's enthusiasm for reading, seeking knowledge and creating, so that children can be friends with books and grow up healthily and happily in reading.

First, in line with children's psychological characteristics, choose the first batch of books that children "love to read" to make children have a good impression on books.

Whether children love reading or not is closely related to parents' cultivation skills. In the early stage of children's reading, parents must carefully select the books and periodicals provided to their children, and try to provide them with some picture books, such as animal picture books, which are beautifully printed, rich and interesting in content, and the plot development conforms to children's imagination and thinking characteristics.

Second, it is not easy to control children's reading process too much.

Curiosity, hyperactivity, lack of patience and endurance are common psychological characteristics of children. Their favorite way of reading is to flip through this book for a while and that book for a while. In this regard, parents don't have to care too much. Usually, at this stage, parents should be satisfied as long as their children are willing to read a book with relish in their hands. Because this performance is completely in line with children's early reading psychology, it is a sign that children have taken an important step on the road of reading and seeking knowledge.

Third, give children the right to choose reading and provide them with a relaxed and free reading environment as much as possible.

Reading is an act of seeking knowledge and a kind of enjoyment. Therefore, parents should not artificially limit and control the contents, types and scope of magazines that are really harmful to children. Generally speaking, the more magazines children read, the better.
