Hainan Vocational College of Science and Technology was founded in 2008 on the basis of Haikou Campus of the former Central Academy of Fine Arts, and it is the first batch of vocational universities in China. After the development of 13 years, the number of full-time students in 202 1 year exceeded16,000 (including four types of single recruitment).
The school has 49 buildings * * * equipped with 256 experimental training rooms. In 20021year, the total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment and school-enterprise cooperation simulation training software was 21/kloc-0.9 million yuan, and the library had paper books/kloc-0.62 million copies, electronic books/kloc-0.35 million copies and Chinese and foreign periodicals/kloc-0.08 kinds. The school won four teaching achievement awards in Hainan Province in recent two sessions, including two first prizes and two second prizes. In recent three years, according to the "TOP20 (20 16-2020)" published by China Higher Education Institute, the school ranked third, sixth and ninth in China, and Hainan Province 1.
