The library of Anhui Vocational and Technical College was formed by merging the libraries of former Anhui Textile Vocational and Technical College, Anhui Light Industry School, Anhui Materials (Building Materials) Industrial School and Anhui Industrial Economics School (Anhui Chemical Industry School). Now it is divided into two buildings, the central library of Yaohai Campus and the branch library of Baohe Campus, with a total area of 8,693 square meters, with a total collection of 580,000 books (including e-book resources), more than 70,000 kinds of periodicals 1.5 million seats, and an electronic reading room 1.5 million seats. Among them, the newly-built 25,000-square-meter center building in Yaohai Campus has been completed, and the new library is the landmark building of the new campus of the College, which will be equipped with first-class modern facilities to serve readers.

The library adopts the automatic management software of Xinyang Library developed by Tsinghua University, and implements computer management of books and periodicals procurement, cataloging, circulation, periodicals and information services. The library has successfully docked with the campus one-card system. Through self-construction and * * *, electronic resources can be shared with existing electronic resources such as Cnki, Wanfang and Long Yuan.

The library consists of five departments: editorial department, distribution department, reading department, information technology department and west branch. At present, there are 20 staff members, including 1 person with senior title, 5 with intermediate title, 6 with bachelor degree and 0 with junior college degree.
