In the subdivision after classification, if there are other standards for classification, it shall be classified according to other prescribed standards. For example, literature is divided by genre, history by age, geography by region, language by nationality and so on.

(1) Books of the same subject, which are studied from different subjects, are classified according to the nature of the subject they have studied. For example, TP393.4 is input for Internet Fundamentals, and F7 13.33 is input for Internet Trade Research.

(2) Books that discuss the same subject from several disciplines at the same time are classified according to the focus of their discussion. If the key points are not prominent, classify them according to the theme of the book. For example, Japan invaded China and the United States entered K265.

4. Multi-theme books are handled in the following situations:

(1) Affiliation: generally classified according to larger (or more important) topics. For example, input "Computer and Chip" into computer TP3.

(2) Parallel relation: the content can be contained in the superior class; There is no top-level classification, and it is classified according to the topics that are relatively large in space or in front. For example, the biological category Q- 1 contains "animals and plants", and physics mostly contains "physics and chemistry", which can also be used as a combination.

(3) Impact relationship: classified according to the affected topics. For example, Plants and Light has entered the category of plants.

(4) Causality: classification according to the theme of the results. For example, Schistosoma japonicum and Schistosoma japonicum enter Schistosoma R533.

(5) Comparative relationship: classification according to the will of literature and the author's intention. For example, materialism and idealism have entered materialism.

5. The application of one discipline in another discipline is transformed into an applied discipline. For example, "computer architectural drawing" enters the architectural category.

6. Professional language books are classified as languages. For example, business English and electrical engineering English belong to English, not to economic F and electrical technology TM.

7. When a book narrates scientific content in literary form, it belongs to the subject. Not in literature. For example, Arabian Nights entered popular science.

8. The content of a subject is classified differently because of the author's different intentions. For example, "interesting physics" and "interesting mathematics" are included in popular science, but not in the "O" category.
