Nanjing People's Middle School, located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, is a key high school in Jiangsu Province, a model school of the Ministry of Education, an advanced school of moral education in Jiangsu Province, an experimental school of psychological education in Jiangsu Province, and a four-star high school in Jiangsu Province.
Founded in 1887, the school has been renamed six times (Miss Sha School, Huiwen Girls' Middle School, Tonglun Girls' Middle School, Huiwen Girls' Middle School, No.4 Girls' Middle School and Renmin Middle School) after three important historical periods. It is one of the oldest middle schools in Nanjing.
2. Middle school affiliated to Nanjing University
The middle school affiliated to Nanjing University is referred to as Nanda Middle School for short. Its history can be traced back to Jinling Christian Women's College founded by 1896.
The name of the school has been changed many times, and after many vicissitudes, it was renamed as the affiliated middle school of Nanjing University on 1989. The scale of the school is two sites (Gulou Street and Qingdao Road) and three departments (Senior Middle School, Junior Middle School and International Department). Nanda High School is located in the center of Nanjing, adjacent to Gulou Square, and across the road from Nanjing University and other century-old universities. Relying on Nantah, the school strives for development and develops first-class characteristics. The students of the affiliated middle school have traveled all over the world.
3. Nanjing No.27 Senior High School
Nanjing No.27 Middle School, referred to as "Nanjing No.27 Middle School" for short, is an independent high school approved by the Nanjing Municipal People's Government and merged from the former Nanjing No.27 Middle School and the former Nanjing No.42 Middle School. It is a key middle school in Nanjing and the first batch of four-star high schools in Jiangsu Province.
The school was formerly known as Nanjing No.27 Middle School founded in 1943 and Nanjing No.42 Middle School founded in 1956. In May 2005, the two schools merged to form Nanjing No.27 Senior Middle School.
4. Nanjing Xuanwu Senior High School
Nanjing Xuanwu Senior High School is a complete middle school which was merged from Nanjing Meiyuan Middle School and Nanjing No.34 Middle School in 20 1 1. It is divided into the middle school of Meiyuan Campus and the high school of Taipingmen Campus.
Xuanwu Senior High School inherits the profound cultural heritage and distinctive school-running characteristics of the two schools, integrates the school-running ideas of "caring education" in the former No.34 Middle School and "Zhou Enlai-style education" in Meiyuan Middle School, and draws lessons from the effective education and teaching experiences of the two schools, which complement each other. Since the merger, the school has been widely praised by the society.
5. Dachang Senior High School
Nanjing Dachang Senior High School is located on the bank of the Yangtze River and at the foot of Taizi Mountain. The school was formerly South China No.1 Middle School and Dachang Middle School. Dachang Middle School, founded in 1956, is the first middle school in Dachang area. South China No.1 Middle School, founded in 1958, is the first batch of key high schools in Jiangsu Province.
In July 2005, under the guidance of the idea of "integrating high-quality resources and seeking quality improvement", Nanhua No.1 Middle School and Dachang Middle School merged to form Nanjing Dachang Senior High School. 20 12 school was promoted to a four-star high school in Jiangsu province.
