Shandong University (Weihai), founded in 1984, is a multidisciplinary, open and comprehensive university campus jointly established by Shandong University and Weihai Municipal Government. Her birth created a precedent for famous schools in different places in China; Her growth confirms the glorious course of deepening reform and scientific development of higher education in China since the reform and opening up.
