The library of Guilin University of Technology has more than 6,543.8+0.6 million paper books and 6,543.8+0.6 million electronic books, and has initially formed a collection system with science and engineering as the mainstay and featuring earth science, material science and environmental engineering, including computer science, management engineering, tourism management, humanities and social sciences, mechanical engineering and other disciplines. In the past ten years, the library has intensified the adjustment of the collection resource structure, purchased large databases in Chinese and foreign languages such as Web of SCI, IEEE, Wiley, Elsevier, Springer, Emerald, EBSCO, CNKI, Reading Show, etc., and is developing into a composite collection resource system combining physical resources and electronic resources.

The library always adheres to the service concept of "readers first, service first", develops and innovates, deepens the service for readers, constructs an open service pattern for readers, and basically realizes the integrated service mechanism and intelligent service of borrowing, storing and reading, which is well received by readers. In recent years, the library has continuously strengthened the information service and information resources construction, and provided readers with a variety of services such as off-campus authorized access, RFID self-borrowing, online reservation, reading promotion, information literacy education, information consultation, document delivery and so on with a brand-new service model, providing readers with 7×24 hours uninterrupted network information service. In order to realize the full coverage of wireless network in Yanshan campus library, reader retrieval terminals were installed in the halls and reading rooms of two campuses to facilitate readers to access library resources.
