2. The header (or middle seam), single-line page number and margin code are included in the text as lines or words per line, and the words are counted together.
3. When the font size of the index and appendix changes, the number of words should be calculated according to the actual layout.
4. If the footnotes in small font are more than 5 lines and less than 10 lines, the front is calculated according to the number of words in the full text plus 15%; If the line exceeds 10, the number of words on this page is calculated as the full text. For small font bracketed text typesetting, line break method can be used to calculate according to footnote text.
5. The first cover, the second cover, the third cover, the back cover, the protective cover, the envelope and the cover page, excluding the blank face, are calculated as 50% of the words in the full text; Copyright page, spine and text are counted as a whole page on one side of the text.
6. Figures and tables in the text are counted according to the number of words in the text: 20% of the words in the full text are counted if the figures occupy one side.
7. For books with pictures as the mainstay, the layout with text descriptions shall be calculated as 50% of the words in the whole page; Pages without text description are calculated as 20% of the whole page text.
8. Music books and atlases are calculated in full according to the number of words on the whole page.
9. The pinyin part of foreign language books, minority language books and pinyin books shall be calculated by adding 30% to the Chinese full-page words of the corresponding font size.
