The ancient city of Han and Wei Dynasties is located at the east of Luoyang/0/5km away from 15, with Luoshui in the south and Mangshan in the north. In AD 25, Emperor Guangwu of the Eastern Han Dynasty named Liu Xiuding as the capital, and then the Three Kingdoms Wei, Western Jin and Northern Wei all made their capitals here. The four generations of * * * lasted for more than 330 years. Because it was mainly in the Eastern Han Dynasty and the Northern Wei Dynasty, the Han and Wei Dynasties were called the old city of Luoyang. 1962 started a comprehensive archaeological excavation, and learned that the existing site remains 3895 meters east wall, 4290 meters west wall and 3700 meters north wall, and the south wall was washed by Luoshui. The debris is generally1-2m above the ground, and the eastern part of the north slope is 5-7m above the ground. The city walls are all made of rammed earth slabs. The plane of the whole city is an irregular rectangle with a circumference of about 14 km. The main buildings in the city are Miyagi, palace, yamen and garden. Now it is a national key cultural relics protection unit.
