Create culturally advanced towns (streets)
According to the target requirements of "Meizhou culturally advanced towns (streets) selection criteria and assessment methods", we will integrate cultural resources within our jurisdiction, improve cultural service functions, and strive to complete the creation work within two years. In 20** years, the establishment of four towns (streets) in Jiangnan, Jinshan, Xijiao and Chengbei was completed, and in 20** years, the establishment of Sanjiao Town and Changsha Town was completed, which were declared and confirmed respectively.

4. Pay attention to the investigation, protection, development and utilization of Hakka ancient dwellings.
Combined with the third national cultural relics survey, the investigation of Hakka ancient dwellings was carried out, and on the basis of comprehensive registration, the protection planning, development and utilization of Hakka dwellings with historical, cultural, scientific and artistic values were well done.
Work measures:
(1) Organize a comprehensive survey (February-March, 20**). Led by the District Bureau of Culture and Broadcasting, with the cooperation of the District Construction Bureau and the Environmental Protection Bureau, the protection offices of ancient dwellings were set up in all towns and streets, and special persons were appointed to be responsible for the comprehensive investigation and verification of ancient dwellings as an independent census project. According to the actual situation, it is divided into three categories: key protection, general protection and others. Famous historical and cultural towns (villages) at or above the provincial level, historical and cultural protection units at the municipal level and outstanding Hakka ancient dwellings are in principle the key protection categories, while the protection units at the city and county levels are the general protection categories, and the rest are other categories.
(2) Prepare the protection plan (April-May, 20**). Classify according to architectural style, historical length, popularity and artistic value, and invite qualified units to formulate detailed protection plans for key ancient dwellings. Determine the scope of protection of buildings and structures through protection planning, and clarify the scope, principles and key points of protection; Delineate protection levels such as core protection areas, construction control areas and style coordination areas, and put forward targeted protection measures and requirements respectively; Clear the height, volume, appearance, color and other control indicators of the original buildings and structures in the core area, and put forward specific control measures to ensure the implementation of the plan.
(3) Screening candidates to declare the protection of ancient dwellings (June, 20**). Will be listed as the key protection of buildings and structures, surveying and mapping, photography, the establishment of protection files, listing publicity, and conscientiously do a good job of screening and reporting.
(4) Strengthen the construction and management of ancient dwellings. The construction within the scope of ancient dwellings must conform to the requirements of protection planning, and must adhere to the principles of maintaining historical relics, perfecting original functions, improving infrastructure and improving environmental quality, protecting the authenticity and integrity of original buildings and structures, and protecting the traditional pattern and style. Maintain and protect ancient dwellings through government investment and social fund-raising. Conditional tourism can be used as a form of tourism development, forming a virtuous circle of protection and development and utilization.
