The library of Xinjiang University has a staff of 107, including Han, Uygur, Kazak, Uzbek, Hui and Manchu, and there are 47 ethnic minority staff, accounting for 43% of the total number of libraries. Among the staff of the whole library, there are 7 people with senior titles/kloc-0, and 49 people with intermediate titles. The library has a director 1, a party branch secretary and deputy director 1, and three deputy directors. It consists of office, circulation department, periodical department, information service center, Calis Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region document information service center office, ancient books and local documents department, editing department and technology department.

The automatic management system of Xinjiang University Library adopts Huiwen document information service system developed by Jiangsu Huiwen Software Co., Ltd., which is based on the management mode of large-scale libraries, adopts two-tier network architecture mode of branch libraries and main libraries, and adopts large-scale Oracle relational database management system. The system includes eight modules: interview, cataloging, circulation, periodical management, public inquiry, system management, OPAC inquiry and Z 39.50 * *, which can comprehensively and meticulously manage the daily business of the library.
