In order to better develop social work and further explore the innovative mechanism of social management, in early September, our town formally established a social work group composed of 10 social workers. After the social workers moved in, they immediately carried out a 10-day investigation in our town, visited 24 villages (communities) and some enterprises, read relevant literature, distributed questionnaires and interviewed village cadres, got a general understanding of the overall situation of our town, deeply analyzed the realistic demands of different groups, put forward working ideas and countermeasures in combination with the actual situation of our town, and formed a targeted investigation report, which laid a good foundation for future work. The investigation is hereby notified as follows:

Second, the basic situation of the community (1) Daling Mountain profile
Dalingshan Town is located in the south-central part of XX, in the center of Dongguan New City, Songshan Lake Science and Technology Industrial Park and Sha Tong Eco-tourism Zone. Trinity killer. Between, unique geographical location, covering an area of 95 square kilometers. It is located in the main transportation hub of Dongguan. New 107 National Highway, Normal University Road, Houda Road and Ma Lian Road pass through the town and are adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao. Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Zhuhai Expressway, Guanshen Expressway, Changhu Expressway and Long Da Expressway all have exits in the town (next to them). Dalingshan has a profound cultural tradition. It was an important town in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period and the cradle of Dongjiang column. Historical culture, Vientiane culture, litchi culture and Hakka culture complement each other and have great urban charm.
(2) Population and its composition
There are 24 village committees (communities) under the jurisdiction of Dalingshan, with more than 400,000 people in the town, including about 40,000 registered residents. The clients in the field of civil affairs mainly include low-income households, five-guarantee households, empty-nest (or solitary) elderly people and special care recipients. According to interview statistics, there are 84 households with low-income households/kloc-0, 28 persons with special care/kloc-0, and about 5 households with five households 1 (see chart1). The proportion of the elderly (over 60 years old) in the population is about 12% (see Figure 2). From the data analysis, the population structure of Dalingshan has shown an aging trend, and the proportion of elderly people over 60 in some communities is as high as 17%, which cannot be ignored.
(3) community infrastructure
1, commercial services
The commercial services in Dalingshan Town are relatively developed, and there are many large shopping plazas in the town, such as China Resources Supermarket, Jiarong Supermarket, Red Apple Supermarket and Tianhe Department Store, which brings a lot of convenience to the residents of the town. At the same time, each village has small department stores and farmers' markets, which can basically meet the shopping needs of residents; In terms of catering services, there are also various types of restaurants for residents to choose from.
2. Infrastructure
The supporting facilities in Dalingshan Town are relatively perfect, and there are many places for residents to play. At present, Dalingshan Park, Dalingshan Square, Dalingshan Sports Park, Dalingshan Forest Park, Mashan Scenic Area, Dongjiang Memorial Hall and other large public leisure places, where residents can exercise, play and entertain. At the same time, all communities have well-equipped parks, such as Datang Road Street Park, Dasha Village Park, Kumquat Park and more than 20 village-level parks. At the same time, every community is actively improving? 5 What is it? Facilities-cultural square, comprehensive cultural activity room, public reading room, public electronic reading room and cultural and sports activities equipment. The construction of these infrastructures provides a place for residents to have fun, greatly enriches their lives and has a great influence on the customs, culture, lifestyle and social atmosphere of Dalingshan Town residents.
(4) Social services
1, health care services
The medical institutions in Dalingshan Town are mainly Dalingshan Hospital and Community Health Service Center. The popularization of primary medical services has provided great convenience for the elderly. Because of weak health, it is usually difficult for the elderly to seek medical treatment. Therefore, nearby medical resources are very important for the health protection of the elderly. Residents in Dalingshan Town have many choices for medical treatment. Because Dalingshan is adjacent to Dongcheng and Liaobu, it is very convenient to go to Puji Branch of People's Hospital and XX Chinese Medicine Hospital.
2. Social welfare services
Through the visit, I learned that every community buys medical insurance for registered residents, and the Dalingshan town government buys critical illness insurance for local residents, which reduces the economic burden of residents to some extent and effectively solves the problem? Expensive to see a doctor? problem In addition, every village collective in Dalingshan Town distributes stock dividends to residents, but due to the difference of economic income, the dividend amount of each village is different, depending on the income of the village collective.
Three. Social problems/demands (1) Individual objects have poor economic conditions and great life pressure. In the household survey, we found that some residents still live in dilapidated old houses. They can't find jobs because of old age or illness, and their economic income is very small. Our statistical results of the questionnaire (valid *** 130 copies) are as follows (Figure 3):
According to the survey, among the elderly, the monthly income below 500 yuan accounts for a large proportion, and some elderly people can only maintain basic living expenses. In case of an accident or illness, many elderly people can't afford it financially, so their ability to take risks is very poor. For poor families, the government's welfare policy is particularly important. During the interview, many residents reported difficulties in life, and the current price level is relatively high, which has a particularly prominent impact on low-income families and marginal families. Although the government issues minimum living allowances to families who meet the minimum living conditions every month, there are still many marginal families who do not enjoy policy benefits, and their living conditions are also worrying.
(2) Individual subjects are in poor health and have a heavy medical burden. During the visit, we found that individual residents in each community were ill for a long time. Some families with financial difficulties barely make ends meet when they are free from illness. When they encounter diseases, they can do nothing but feed themselves. For them, the annual medical expenses are a huge expense, which is beyond their affordability. Therefore, these families who can't afford to get sick need the help of social resources and better medical security.
(3) Empty nesters lack care and have many hidden dangers. Due to the differences in lifestyles, many elderly people do not live with their children, and the proportion of empty nesters is getting higher and higher, which has many security risks. On the one hand, the children of empty nesters are outside, and the elderly have no relatives around them, which leads to their extreme loneliness and pain. On the other hand, empty nesters are generally older and inconvenient to move, which may leave hidden dangers for safety and even lead to tragedy; In addition, some empty nesters have meager income or savings, which may become the target of some criminals and cause personal safety hazards.
(d) Lack of spiritual comfort and emotional life. The care of children is very important for the physical and mental health of the elderly. However, due to various conditions, many young children often ignore their parents' physical and mental care and spiritual comfort, resulting in empty nesters' spiritual emptiness and a big emotional gap. At the same time, due to physical reasons, empty nesters are inconvenient to move and lack opportunities to communicate with others, which leads to monotonous spiritual life and lack of cultural and entertainment life.
(E) The utilization rate of infrastructure is not high. 90% of the residential areas in Dalingshan are universal? Five? Facilities construction (see chart 4), but according to community cadres and residents, these infrastructures originally used for residents' leisure and entertainment have not been well utilized. Only a few communities have their own dance teams, Cantonese opera clubs, bands and other non-governmental organizations spontaneously organized by residents, and they will be active in the cultural squares of their respective communities. However, libraries and electronic reading rooms in most communities are rarely visited, and many cultural and sports equipment has lost its use value.
Enlightenment to the development of social work service (1) As a propagandist and advocate of policies, it is our future work direction to publicize relevant welfare policies and legal knowledge for residents. So that every resident can enjoy the social welfare and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of vulnerable groups, social workers can make their own efforts to appeal to residents to understand and abide by the law and build a harmonious community.
(2) Planning and building community cultural development activities. Dalingshan lacks the necessary community cultural and recreational activities and cultural and recreational atmosphere. In the long run, it will be infected and occupied by some bad entertainment activities, which is not conducive to the long-term development of the community. Social workers can organize or plan community residents' activity centers and residents' cultural and sports activities mechanisms, build a long-term community cultural system, and enrich residents' lives.
(3) Cultivate community leaders in Dalingshan and unify villagers' thoughts and actions. Judging from the situation reflected by residents, Dalingshan community lacks strong leaders to lead residents to develop in the same direction. Can social workers serve as educators and train community leaders to increase the autonomy and participation of villagers?
(4) Increase employment counseling and training to serve social work at the family level. Similar to many communities, Dalingshan community also has many unemployed youths, empty nesters and poor families. Social workers can increase the possibility of providing services, help the disadvantaged groups in the community to stand on their own feet and promote the harmonious and healthy development of the community.
Verb (abbreviation of verb) Summary and reflection The related work of this community survey lasted nearly two weeks. The interview and investigation process was strongly supported and helped by the civil affairs cadres and residents of Dalingshan community, which made the investigation work go smoothly. We have basically understood the required information and collected the necessary materials. However, the problems such as insufficient survey samples, insufficient survey information and improper analysis and description are the shortcomings of this survey report, and they are also the places that we need to improve and improve in this kind of work in the future.
Although this community survey has come to an end, the work around community visits, community understanding and community publicity will continue. We will strengthen the interaction and contact between social workers and residents in the process of continuous visits, understanding and publicity, and create a good atmosphere and environment for providing and developing professional social work services.
