Tianyige 1
One of the four major libraries in China, Ningbo's city slogan: Hong Kong connects the world and collects books from ancient times to modern times; It means Tianyi Pavilion. Tianyi Pavilion, located in Ningbo, Zhejiang, is the earliest private library in China, the oldest library in Asia and one of the three oldest family libraries in the world. Tianyi Pavilion, covering an area of 26,000 square meters, was built in the middle of the Ming Dynasty and presided over by Fan Qin, a retired right assistant minister of the Ministry of War.
2. Tianyi Square
The first comprehensive square in Ningbo. Ningbo Tianyi Square starts from Chejiao Street in the east, Ming Kai Street in the west, Zhongshan East Road in the north and Yaohang Street in the south, with a total area of 19.6 hectares, a total demolition area of 235,600 square meters and a demolition cost of nearly 800 million yuan, which is the highest in Ningbo's history.
3. Catholic Church
Ningbo Catholic Church is located in the north bank of Sanjiang Estuary, the north bank of Xinjiang Bridge, the north bank of Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. The whole complex includes the bishop's office, the church area and some houses. The architecture is complete, uniform and magnificent, especially the towering and elegant church. With its unique Gothic architectural style, it is an excellent modern building in China and has been listed as the key cultural relics protection unit in Zhejiang Province and the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
4. Lingqiao
The buildings before liberation are the historical witness of Ningbo. Lingqiao, commonly known as Lao Jiang Bridge, is the oldest long-span pontoon bridge in Ningbo, spanning the Fenghua River at the junction of Haishu District and jiangdong district. Built in Tang Zeng Mingdong Tianjin pontoon bridge. Because Lingqiao is located in a downtown area, it has enjoyed great prosperity despite repeated repairs and losses and repeated constructions. It was not until the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China that someone initiated reconstruction. 1936, with the support of Ningbo Travel Association to Shanghai, Lingqiao, which was built by Siemens of Germany, was officially completed. Its design and service life is as long as 70 years, and it is one of the most representative modern buildings in Ningbo. In 2007, the Ningbo Municipal Government entrusted Tongji University to conduct a thorough inspection of Lingqiao, and considered that the main structure of the bridge was still safe. After necessary transformation, Lingqiao is still the main bridge in Ningbo.
