Party member, a member of the First Party Group of the Acquisition and Reading Department, watched the "Exhibition of Historical Documents and Monument Protection Achievements in Xinjiang". The whole exhibition brought me not only the promotion of knowledge of ancient books, the study of Xinjiang history and the understanding of folk customs, but also the inner shock and pride as a literary worker.
This exhibition focuses on the important documents of various languages used in Xinjiang history. This is the first time since the founding of New China that precious historical documents of Xinjiang have been comprehensively displayed in the capital Beijing, and it is also a report on the achievements of ancient books protection in Xinjiang. There are 320 exhibits from 23 collection units in China, which have a long historical span and rich contents, including important documents and cultural relics about Xinjiang from the pre-Qin period to the Ming and Qing dynasties in 2000, covering 22 categories of wooden slips, documents, ancient books, maps and rubbings in various national languages, showing the distinctive characteristics of Xinjiang's multi-ethnic, multi-lingual, multi-cultural and multi-religious history. The exhibition was co-sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, the People's Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and the member units of the National Inter-ministerial Joint Conference on the Protection of Ancient Books. It is undertaken by the National Library (National Ancient Books Protection Center) and the Cultural Department of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, with more than 20 co-organizers.
The exhibition also comprehensively shows the achievements of ancient books protection in Xinjiang since the founding of New China, especially since the implementation of the "China Ancient Books Protection Plan" in 2007. Through exhibition boards and objects, the achievements in the protection of ancient books in Xinjiang are displayed, and the concern of the party and state leaders for the cultural construction in Xinjiang is displayed.
China had ancient books as early as Shang Dynasty. China used paper/kloc-0.000 years earlier than Europe, and printing was used 600 years earlier than Europe. And such a multi-ethnic country with a long history, the profound Chinese culture can not be separated from all ethnic groups. Many ethnic minorities have their own scripts for a long time, and use these scripts to create unique classics. Xinjiang, which is located in the northwest of China, is the intersection of eastern and western civilizations, and ancient books in Chinese and various national languages are extremely rich. However, due to historical and special social conditions, before the founding of New China, the collation of ancient books of ethnic minorities in Xinjiang was rarely carried out, and due to the weak foundation, there were still outstanding problems such as poor preservation conditions, backward restoration methods, shortage of funds, serious shortage of talents engaged in the protection of ancient books, relatively backward discipline construction, and serious aging and damage of ancient books. After the founding of New China, the Party and the government attached great importance to the protection of ethnic ancient books in Xinjiang. With the great attention and care of the party and the government, the protection of ancient books in Xinjiang has made important progress. Especially in 2007, after the "China Ancient Books Protection Plan" was launched in an all-round way, the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region seriously carried out the general survey of ancient books, and actively declared the national list of precious ancient books in coordination with the overall plan of the national general survey of ancient books. At present, 64 ancient books have been selected, and the Library of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region has also been selected as the "National Key Protection Unit of Ancient Books". Under the correct leadership and care of the party and the government, all provinces in China, including Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, have made remarkable achievements in the protection of ancient books. China's ancient books are an important symbol of recording the progress of civilization and an important carrier of human civilization, which can be restored and protected formally and scientifically.
Our motherland has a long history and splendid civilization, and all kinds of ancient books are important carriers of these civilizations. From this perspective, the importance of the protection of ancient books should not be underestimated. It not only protects the ancient books themselves, but also protects the history of civilization in China. Although there are still some differences between my work and the protection of ancient books, as a document worker and producer of * * *, party member felt warm in my heart when he saw that the protection of ancient books in China was so concerned and valued by the party and the government. This exhibition also deeply inspired me to love the party and be dedicated again. In my daily work, I will inherit the fine tradition of the library and give full play to party member's advanced nature in order to repay the cultivation and care of the party and the country.
