Hengchun ancient settlement
As early as the Qing Dynasty, due to the development of agriculture and fishery in the peninsula, many settlements appeared in Hengchun, the coastal area of Checheng and Manzhou today. The inconvenient transportation and its special geographical and climatic factors make the appearance of the cottages on the peninsula quite different from the common Fujian-style buildings in Taiwan Province Province. However, due to the exchange of fishing and the special living habits of local residents, it was sometimes influenced by the imitation of European style during the Japanese occupation period, which made it form its own system in Taiwan Province Province, quite similar to the traditional architecture of Penghu. The buildings on the peninsula are deeply influenced by the function of life, and their basic form is centered on the gods who worship ancestral tablets, extending left and right, forming a so-called "one-stop". One-stop houses are arranged side by side along the main street, which is a common landscape in coastal residential areas of Hengchun and Checheng.
Kenting Park: Kenting Park was the earliest park established in Taiwan Province Province after World War II. It is located in Pingtung County and Peninsula at the southernmost tip of Taiwan Province Province. Land area 18084 hectares, sea area 15 185 hectares, with a total land and sea area of 33,269 hectares. The park is about 24 kilometers long from north to south and 24 kilometers wide from east to west. It belongs to the tropical region and is one of the popular tourist attractions in Taiwan Province Province. The main attractions of Kenting Park are Goose Guanbi, Dajianshan, Longluan Beach, Maobi, Baisha Bay, Nanren Lake, Longkeng Nature Reserve, Fengfengsha and Longpan Park. Kenting Park is not only beautiful in natural landscape, but also warm in climate and rich in precious resources.
Museum of marine biology
The MarineMuseum, referred to as the Marine Museum for short, is located in Checheng Town, Pingtung County, Taiwan, in the coastal area at the foot of Guishan Mountain in the northwest corner of Kenting National Park. This is a large museum with the theme of marine life. The museum covers an area of about 96.8 1 hectare. It was founded in 199 1 and opened on February 25th, 2000. Its public works construction won the first prize of "American 200 1 Outstanding Engineering Award" awarded by American Association of Engineering Consultants. The wavy roof of the Museum of Marine Life, combined with the scenery of mountains and seas, represents the spirit of water. Signs hanging in the 2 1 meter-high museum lead people to the ocean model of marine life, which makes the museum full of strong marine atmosphere.
Mirs Bay Scenic Area: Mirs Bay Scenic Area was established in 1997, mainly located in Mirs Bay area on the southwest side of Taiwan Province Island and its adjacent land, including Mirs Bay and Ryukyu as a whole. Dapeng Bay is bounded by county roads 17 and 63 to the north and county roads 1 and 128 to the east. County roads 1 and 128 connect the existing drainage levee to Ping 12, and are adjacent to the existing urban planning residential area line in Donggang in the west. Ryukyu Scenic Area is bounded by the main island of Ryukyu and the coastal hotline extending 600 meters. Dapeng Bay is the largest inner bay in Taiwan Province Province.

Gulangyu Island, located in the southeast of Taiwan Province Province, is famous for boating. Guluanxi itself is about 8 1. 15 km long, and the whole water system is about 104 km long, with a drainage area of1790.46km2.. It is the largest river in the eastern part of Taiwan Province Province, and also the main river that forms the alluvial fan in the eastern rift valley. The main tributaries of the ancient Luanxi River are Fuyuan River, Hongye River, Feng Ping River, Zhuoxi River and Lele River, and the downstream estuary is built with Changhong Bridge. Gulangxi's most famous scenic spot is the huge white stone in the riverbed, which is called Shuyu Wonderland. Shuyu Wonderland is limestone, which consists of biological remains, fossils and coral reefs piled up on the ocean.
Hengchun Ancient City: Hengchun Ancient City is located in Hengchun Town, Pingtung County, Taiwan. This is the county seat of Hengchun County in Qing Dynasty. It was built on October 18th, the first year of Guangxu (1November 15th, 875) and completed on July 15th, the fifth year of Guangxu (1September 1st, 879). It is the only existing city in Taiwan Province Province that keeps all its gates. Hengchun County has a circumference of 880 feet (about 2,600 meters), a city base of 2 feet thick and an outer wall of 4 feet 5 inches high 1 foot. The interior wall is 1 ft high, 3 feet 4 inches wide and 1 ft 6 feet wide, with four doors. Except for the south gate called "Tumingmen", the other three gates are only called East Gate, North Gate and West Gate. There is a trench outside the door, a bridge at the door and a castle between the doors. There are county government, Shidian, Confucian Temple, Tongshan CCBA, Tianhou Palace, Fengshen Temple, Chenghuang Temple, Fude Temple, Sanshan Dawang Temple, Bailong Temple, Wulong Dawang Temple and Kannonji in the city.
