Citizens who have reached the age of 4 can apply for Nanyang Library Reader's Card for free with valid documents.

Bidding procedure

Readers with second-generation ID cards can apply for reader cards through self-service accreditation machines or self-service library service machines.

Readers with other valid certificates should go to the reader's accreditation office on the first floor hall to handle it manually. Readers must fill in the application form for reader registration.

/kloc-readers under the age of 0/4 can borrow books in the children's service area on the first floor accompanied by guardians.

Readers who change their old cards should go to the reception desk in the lobby on the first floor.

The holder of the privileged reader card needs to activate the reader card function. With the second-generation ID card, you can go through the opening formalities in Nanyang Library's self-service accreditation machine, main service desk and 24-hour self-service library in the city block. After activation, their functions are equivalent to ordinary reader cards.

Service function of reader card

Reading: vouchers are used to read current periodicals and newspapers, back periodicals and newspapers, preserved books, special collections of ancient books, microforms, Nanyang local documents and government information open documents; Use the computer in the digital library service area and use the wireless network of Nanyang Library.

Borrowing: vouchers are borrowed from self-service book lending machines, micro-library self-service machines or service desks in Chinese and foreign languages, as well as books, audio-visual materials and Braille documents. Borrow from the service desk in the designated area.

Acquisition of electronic resources: browse the electronic newspapers and periodicals of the library with vouchers; Access and borrow e-books; Visit "Nanyang Library Network" and our database to obtain electronic resources; Enjoy the online reference service.

Pre-deposit fee: readers can voluntarily deposit a certain amount of cash to facilitate the settlement of excess damage and loss compensation, and pay for self-service printing, self-service copying and other expenses.
