Southwest Jiaotong University Library consists of Chengdu Jiuli Campus Library, Xipu Campus Library, Emei Campus Library and reference rooms of various departments. The library has a total area of 62,065 square meters, 5,254 reading seats and a total of 3.7 million paper books. The library pays attention to the development of school disciplines, increases the amount of newly-established professional documents, pays attention to the integration and utilization of paper documents and electronic documents, speeds up the construction of characteristic databases and network resource navigation libraries, expands the channels of literature exchange and cooperation with other units at home and abroad, and forms a "three-level complementary" document guarantee system supported by paper resources, electronic resources, interlibrary loan and document delivery services, which better meets the demand of the whole school for literature information.
