Zibo Museum was established in April, 1958. The new museum is located in the downtown square, with a building area of 1.3 million square meters. It integrates cultural relics archaeology, exhibition, scientific research and cultural relics circulation. It is a comprehensive geography museum with more than 2000 pieces of cultural relics/kloc-0 and nearly 20000 pieces of cultural relics specimens.

There are many fine works in the collection of cultural relics, many of which are rare treasures at home and abroad, such as a series of bronzes unearthed from the tombs of the upper nobility in Linzi Qi State. Gold and silver utensils, jade articles, extra-large rectangular bronze mirrors, Jin Zungang, silver plates, gold-plated fuming stoves, etc. unearthed from the tomb of the King of Qi in the Western Han Dynasty. , famous for its exquisite modeling and exquisite craftsmanship. They have been exhibited abroad many times and are very famous. The basic exhibitions include the exhibition of Qi culture and modern Zibo, which systematically reflects the long history and splendid ancient civilization of Zibo for more than 8,000 years, especially the reappearance of Qi in China. Since its opening, more than100000 domestic and foreign tourists have visited it every year. In addition, nearly 20 temporary exhibitions are held and introduced every year to meet the needs of the broad audience. The museum has been awarded the honorary titles of excellent museum in Shandong province and patriotic education base in provinces and cities.
