The basement of the new museum is divided into three independent areas: the middle basement is a civil air defense project with an area of 1600 square meters, which is developed and utilized as a cultural relic warehouse; Basements on the east and west sides 1600 square meters can be developed and utilized as supermarkets or book wholesale markets, cultural relics and handicrafts trading markets, etc. There are 3,000 square meters of exhibition center pavilion and 120 square meters of 10 county pavilion underground, which can hold various large-scale exhibitions and receive various trade fairs. Six cultural relics exhibition halls with a total area of 4,800 square meters were designed on the second and third floors. According to the characteristics that the population of Mongolian in Horqin in our city is 6.5438+0.47 million, accounting for one-third of the Mongolian population in the autonomous region, and the advantages of collecting more than 6.5438+0 million cultural relics, Horqin historical treasures, Horqin historical scrolls, fine Mongolian cultural relics, cultural relics exhibition of Princess Chen and Xu's tomb in Liao Dynasty, Guanbu Art Museum and Art Museum have been planned. . In June, 2005, Horqin Museum was rated as a patriotic education base and a red tourist attraction in Tongliao, and now it has been declared as the second batch of patriotic education bases in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The fourth floor is a multi-functional conference hall with an area of 1400 square meters, which can accommodate 800 people and can hold various large-scale conferences, academic reports and cultural evenings. At present, the convention and exhibition center has been put into use. Since March 2004, it has received more than a dozen large-scale conferences, such as Tongliao Party Congress, People's Congress, Autonomous Region Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Industrialization Conference, and People's Good Public Servant Niu Yuru's Advanced Deeds Report.
