According to the designed service life, the new Ningxia Museum will be a century-old project.

The first chapter is "The Dawn of Civilization", and a group of vivid scenes of ancient people's life restoration kicked off the exhibition. This chapter mainly shows the history of paleolithic, microlithic and Neolithic, highlighting the different production and lifestyle of ancient Ningxia, which proves that Ningxia is also one of the earliest cradles of Chinese civilization.

Many details of the second chapter "Farming and Pastoral Homeland" are not well known. This chapter is divided into two parts: grassland pastoral and Qin Guan John. It mainly shows the history from the Western Zhou Dynasty, the Spring and Autumn Period to the Qin and Han Dynasties, and shows the contribution of Xirong, Xiongnu and other nationalities to the early development and construction of Ningxia. In particular, it highlights the historical facts of reclamation, border defense and canal irrigation in Qin and Han Dynasties, thus reflecting the process and reasons for the transformation of production mode from animal husbandry to agriculture in Ningxia.

According to the historical process, the chapter "Important Town of the Silk Road" mainly shows the special position of Ningxia in the eastern end of the Silk Road during the Sui and Tang Dynasties in the Northern Dynasties, and highlights the positive role of Ningxia in cultural exchanges between the East and the West.

Walking into the exhibition hall of the fourth chapter "The Pursuit of Summer", a statue of Li Yuanhao jumped into sight, adding a bit of movement to the exhibition hall. The booth of the national treasure gilded bronze bull is also quite distinctive, and the pictures of the excavation site will be surrounded behind it, giving people an immersive feeling. This chapter spans from the end of the Tang Dynasty to the demise of Xixia, focusing on Xixia culture.

The last chapter, Jiangnan in the North of Saibei, as the closing work of the general history exhibition, reflects the historical period defined in the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. In content, the historical facts reflecting the formation and development of Hui people in Ningxia since the Yuan Dynasty have been added. Pay attention to national unity, ethnic integration and frontier development. One of the miniature models of Najiahu Mosque, made of pure wood by hand, is a masterpiece with exquisite craftsmanship and perfect carving. According to Yang Xiushan, a researcher at Ningxia Museum, in order to truly reproduce every detail of the lake mosque, this wooden model took more than a month to complete, and the cost reached several hundred thousand yuan.

"New Moon and Sky-General History Exhibition of Ningxia" is the theme exhibition located on the second floor of the new Ningxia Museum, and it is also the most important exhibition in the new museum. Unique in conception, chapter division and display design. The exhibition area is 30 1 1 square meter, with a C-shaped layout.

Here, we will wander for 30,000 years and touch the history of Ningxia.

The New Moon in the Sky-General History Exhibition of Ningxia divides the history of Ningxia from Paleolithic Age to Qing Dynasty into five stages, forming a large-scale general history exhibition with five chapters. The overall style of Crescent Sky is simple, rough and exquisite. Entering the foyer, a bronze relief mural is particularly heavy and vicissitudes against the light. The lighting design, cloisters and walls with obvious modern style always give people unexpected joy. Here, the display of cultural relics is combined with pictures and scenery, which ideally reflects the desolation of ancient times, the hardships of agriculture and animal husbandry, the mystery of the Silk Road, the glory of Xixia and the formation and development history of Hui people in Ningxia. Walking, in addition to shock, is more solemn, sacred, pious and proud.

If you look down at the main building of the new building from the top, the whole building plane shows a big "Hui" shape, which closely conforms to the word "Hui" in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The square building looks like an ancient capital, and the doors around it are open, thus building a "cultural castle" full of modern meaning. Viewed vertically, the new museum looks like an ancient beacon tower, and this detail is the echo of Ningxia frontier fortress culture.

The hall of the new museum is magnificent, with a tetrahedral glass pyramid at the top, which reminds people of the famous Louvre in Paris. Director Li said that the tetrahedral glass pyramid has high modeling technology, strong thermal insulation performance and excellent lighting, which can fully reflect environmental protection and energy saving. The ceiling of the hall draws lessons from the ceiling caisson of the ancient buildings in China. Dozens of algae wells and window grilles are forged from pure copper, which are solemn and gorgeous and embody the essence of China traditional culture.

The facade of the entrance and exit of the new building has a strong Islamic national style, and the top of the facade is carved with a "pointed arch" of Islamic architectural style, which uses light and shadow to form the "cloister" effect of Islamic architecture and has distinctive national characteristics. The four corners of the museum are skillfully supported by Lux Wenzhi. On the simple and elegant stone exterior wall veneer, 32 Jialing Pinjia carvings are particularly eye-catching.

If you look closely, you will find that the handrail decoration of the stairs is very unique, decorated with bronze chariots and horses imitating the Western Zhou Dynasty, which is full of cultural atmosphere. Every door of the exhibition hall in the museum has a decoration protruding from the middle and lower part. Director Li said it was taken from an ancient horse ornament called Danglu.

There are many exquisite and connotative details in the new building of Ningxia Museum, which are worth your perusal. It can be said that understanding a detail is equivalent to understanding a period of history.

● Many precious cultural relics will be the first time.

Since the preparation of the new museum, the collection of cultural relics for the new museum has begun. Director Li Jinzeng introduced that in order to fully display Ningxia's cultural charm, historical process and cultural relics collection, Ningxia Museum collected exhibits from cultural and artistic institutions in all cities, counties and districts in the region, and selected fine works from a total of more than 6,543,800 cultural relics to determine the cultural relics to be exhibited. In addition, Ningxia Museum also specially collected the Xixia and Hui national treasures such as green glaze kiss and carved porcelain flat pot from four museums, including Beijing Museum and Capital Museum, and presented them to the audience together with the three national treasures collected by Ningxia Museum, such as Hu Xuanwu Stone Tomb Gate, gilded bronze bull and Lux Wenzhituo.

Ningxia Museum has nearly 40,000 cultural relics. Among them, more than 4,000 precious cultural relics above Grade III have been recognized as national first-class cultural relics 159. The exhibition area of the new museum has expanded by 10 times compared with the past, which means that many precious cultural relics will appear in front of the audience for the first time.

For modern museums, exhibitions are more than simply showing cultural relics. When we enter the new Ningxia Museum, we will feel the creative display mode in the "Stone Carving History Book"-the Helanshan Rock Painting Exhibition Hall on the first floor. Huge rock arches, realistic display cases embedded in Helan Mountain, murals depicting ancestors' lives ... rich details, the reproduction of the real environment where cultural relics are located make people feel completely beyond ordinary browsing, and more enjoyable and relaxed intervention.

Curator Li stroked those completely simulated rocks and told us a secret: these rocks are not man-made, but masterpieces of nature. All "stones" are naturally turned over on real rocks and then copied. It can be said that the "stone" in the exhibition hall exists in nature.

Director Li said: So many cultural relics will be divided into three parts: general history exhibition, special exhibition and temporary exhibition. They will start with six elements: theme, time, space, content, form, means and clients. They will be based on the collection of cultural relics in the whole region, combined with the latest research results, and strive to be rich in content, distinctive in characteristics and meaningful in words, generally reflecting the unique natural products, local culture and national culture of Ningxia since ancient times. On the first floor of the new museum, there are two exhibition halls, namely "Brilliant Fortress" and "Stone Carving History Book"; on the second floor, there are two exhibition halls, namely "Red Flag Manjuan" and "General History of Ningxia" and a folk collection. There are many exhibition halls on the third floor, such as "Walking Home", "Spring and Autumn Notes", "Colorful zhanghua" and "Fiona Fang History Notes".

The new building of Ningxia Museum not only embodies the cultural connotation everywhere, but also has high scientific and technological content, which embodies the characteristics of humanization. The exhibition hall of the museum adopts intelligent lighting, and the lighting design is very clever. It is the most advanced sound and photoelectric system at present. There is a large LED color screen in the hall to release all kinds of information in time for the convenience of the audience. There are also multi-function halls, network audio-visual rooms and so on. , fully functional. The advanced air purification system with constant temperature and humidity provides the best collection environment for cultural relics and a healthy viewing environment for the audience. There is a ramp for the disabled at the entrance of Nanda, and there are elevators and toilets for the disabled in the building.
