The Reader's Service Department provides library services for all teachers and students, including borrowing, returning, renewing, booking, handling and reporting the loss of books. In addition, it also provides readers with services such as reading, inquiry, consultation and interlibrary loan. Detailed service items are as follows:

1. Regular borrowing: Readers can access Unicorn system through the library's web page, retrieve the required book information, and go directly to the stacks of the book lending department for borrowing procedures.

2. Renewal service: the borrowed books can be renewed once they expire. Readers can use the library's public bibliographic inquiry system and refer to the online retrieval flow chart to renew books.

3. Book reservation: There is no available copy of the selected book, and readers can make a book reservation through the public bibliography inquiry system. After booking books from the library, you can go to the relevant stacks to go through the borrowing procedures.

4. Consultation service: set up information desks on the second, third and fourth floors of the library to answer readers' questions on the spot. Readers can also ask for service, consultation and questions by phone or email, and the book lending department is responsible for answering and providing good services.

5. Reading guidance service: for all teachers and students, make full use of the advantages of library literature resources and carry out colorful reading guidance activities.

6. Interlibrary loan: The book lending department can handle the interlibrary loan procedures of the digital library of Tianjin University for readers. There are periodical reading rooms (A20 1) and electronic reading rooms (D20 1) for readers to read printed newspapers and electronic literature resources. The periodical reading room subscribes to 560 current Chinese periodicals and exchanges more than 300 periodicals; There are 560 back issues in Chinese and more than 60 newspapers. Periodicals are classified and shelved according to China Library Classification. Provide indoor reading, consulting and copying services in an open-shelf manner; There are 188 reading seats. The electronic reading room has 207 reading seats and is equipped with 207 I5 series host, CD-ROM drive, USB and other interface devices. Provide online resource browsing, electronic resource retrieval, bibliographic retrieval of Tianjin University Joint Library, readers' book inquiry, renewal, reservation and other services, and provide literature download and printing services. Readers use a card to access the computer. In addition, the electronic reading room also undertakes some computer experiment classes in the school.

Information retrieval and consultation is a multifunctional comprehensive information retrieval and consultation service department, which integrates information retrieval teaching practice and user training, reader information consultation service, document retrieval and document delivery service, online information report and database construction. In order to answer readers' questions about library utilization and electronic resources retrieval in time, and to better serve the readers of the whole school, the information consulting room actively carries out consulting services through face-to-face, e-mail, telephone, FAQ, online consultation, etc., cooperates with the library to do a good job in publicizing various services and information, and collects readers' opinions and suggestions on library services.

To undertake the interview and cataloging of books, periodicals, electronic publications and other collection resources of the whole library. According to the development of school discipline construction, we should collect, allocate, process, arrange and collect all kinds of literature resources reasonably to meet the needs of teaching and scientific research of teachers and students. At the same time, readers are warmly welcome to make comments and suggestions on the ordering of books, periodicals and electronic resources in our library. The editorial department also accepts donations from private individuals and social groups.

Technology and System Service Department is the technical department to ensure the normal operation of library network, automatic management system and mirror full-text database. The main responsibilities are to upgrade and maintain the library's automated information management system, manage the computers and related equipment of the whole library, maintain the library's web page, and manage and maintain the full-text database. And provide uninterrupted technical support from the aspects of software and hardware equipment, system management, network management, etc., to ensure the normal operation of the library network system and make all kinds of data resources of the library serve readers through the network to the maximum extent.

Textbook work is the carrier of university teaching content and teaching methods, the basic tool of teaching, and the important guarantee of comprehensively promoting quality education and cultivating innovative talents. In order to better integrate management and service, all the staff of the textbook supply department will actively and enthusiastically receive every teacher and student, provide them with the required textbooks, and let them feel our thoughtful and meticulous service. Office location: the administrative office of library A 10 1 room, as the staff and assistant of the party and government leaders of the library, mainly assists the library leaders in managing the daily affairs of the library, including documents, personnel, finance, logistics, security, external liaison, organizing meetings and activities of the whole library, collecting readers' opinions, and assisting all departments (rooms) to improve their work.
