Fan, writer, classical literature scholar and translator. He is permeated with the ancient rhyme of Tang poetry, with poetic light and profound thoughts everywhere, which laid a solid foundation for this film. As a translator, his translation of Goethe's masterpiece Faust has been reprinted six times in Yilin Publishing House.

Who is Mr. Fan? A few people who have seen "The Master of Yin and Yang" probably won't notice that there is a "literary consultant" in its cast list, that is, Mr. Fan, a scholar from Peking University in the 1950s, was labeled as a "rightist" and went to Ningxia Farm to translate Faust with a cigarette case as manuscript paper. The recent sensational TV series Tang Zhiyun was also written by Mr. Fan. At the end of each episode, a Tang poem is the finale, and Wang Wei's "Send Yuan Ershi to Kansai" is recited in children's voice: I advise you to have a glass of wine to show your appreciation of each other's special affection for the West, which is indifferent and serene, and still close at hand.
