Qingdao University of Science and Technology Library was founded in 1950, and now it is composed of Laoshan Campus, Sifang Campus, Gaomi Campus Library and five department reference rooms. Gaomi Campus Library will open at the end of October13.

The library has 99 staff in three campuses, with a total area of ***5 1372 square meters. The libraries in the three campuses are managed in a unified way, and the advanced Interlib library management system is adopted to realize the borrowing and returning of books in the three campuses, so as to maximize the knowledge and enjoy the library resources. It is open for 98 hours every week to realize the integrated service of collection, lending, reading, inquiry and inquiry.

There are six stacks, including comprehensive lending room, sample reading room, periodical reading room, newspaper reading room, electronic reading room and back issue reading room, with more than 2,260 reading seats.

Sifang Campus Library has 9 stacks, including natural science stacks, social science stacks, foreign language stacks, foreign language periodicals reading rooms, scientific and technological periodicals reading rooms, social science periodicals reading rooms, liberal arts reading rooms, engineering reading rooms and electronic reading rooms, with a total of 1200 reading seats. The two campuses can provide more than 500 seats to meet the needs of teachers and students.
