Acacia formosana is an evergreen tree in Leguminosae, also known as acacia, acacia and willow in Taiwan Province Province. Acacia formosana originated in Taiwan Province Province, China, and also distributed in the Philippines.

The plant is as high as15m, and the trunk is slightly curved. At seedling stage, 1 true leaf is pinnately compound. When they grow up, the lobules degenerate. Petiole leaflike, lanceolate, curved like a sickle, leathery, 6 ~ 1 0cm long, 0/cm wide and 3 ~ 7 parallel veins. Head, yellow, axillary. The pod is flat and 5 ~ 12 cm long.
