Xuzhou Museum is a local comprehensive museum established by Xuzhou Municipal People's Government on the site of Emperor Qianlong's southern tour in Qing Dynasty.

Founded in 1960, it is located at the northern foot of Yunlong Mountain, a scenic spot in the south of Xuzhou. It consists of three exhibition areas: exhibition building, Qianlong Palace and Tushan Han Tomb. It covers an area of 23,000 square meters, with a building area of12,000 square meters and an exhibition hall area of more than 3,000 square meters. Equipped with central air conditioning, fire protection and safety protection system. The original site of the museum is the former site of the palace of Emperor Gaozong Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty during his southern tour in 1757. 1996 Xuzhou municipal people's government decided to break ground on the original site to expand the museum, which was completed and opened in may 1999.

The first cartoon museum in China is also the largest in Asia.
The first cartoon museum in China and the largest in Asia were jointly built by quanshan district of Xuzhou City, the Municipal Cultural Bureau and Chengmeitang Animation Company of Taiwan Province Province. The museum covers an area of 3,300 square meters, with180,000 cartoon dolls and 500,000 cartoon books. Almost all cartoon characters can be found in museums. The museum is divided into four areas, including exhibition hall, cartoon theater, cartoon library and experience center. It breaks through the functional mode of exhibition, and integrates the research and development, design, production, display and promotion of animation products, and the display and reading of animation books and derivative products.
