Introduction of Mu Xin Art Museum
Mu Xin Art Museum in Wuzhen is located in Wuzhen, the hometown of Mu Xin, adjacent to the Wuzhen Grand Theatre in Zhaxi. This private gallery displays Mu Xin's paintings and literary works completely for the first time. The curator is Chen Danqing, a student and painter from Mu Xin.
The appearance of the art museum is simple and elegant, and it stands across Yuanbao Lake near the water. Coupled with the reflection in the water, the photos taken have a quiet feeling. There are five permanent special museums in the museum, which display Mu Xin's works for a long time. The exhibition hall includes painting museum, literature museum, prison manuscript museum, video museum, etc. There are also two special exhibition halls where you can see Mu Xin's paintings in different periods, including "Prison Manuscripts".
In addition, there is a stepped library at the northern end of the Art Museum, where the audience can sit on the wooden steps, enjoy the scenery in the backyard of the Art Museum and read Mu Xin's literary memoirs and other books. There is a coffee shop near the special exhibition hall on the first floor of the museum. In addition to fancy coffee of various flavors, western-style cakes and light meals are also provided.
Mu Xin former residence memorial hall
Mu Xin's former residence is located in Dongzha, Wuzhen, Zhejiang. Originally the former residence of Mu Xin, it was later transformed into "Xiaoyanglou in the late 1990s". In 2006, Mu Xin returned to his hometown and lived here for a long time. On May 20 14, the Mu Xin Memorial Hall opened, facing south, and was divided into a living museum, a painting museum and a literature museum, displaying some of Mu Xinfa's artistic works and relics. The old objects on display here are much more valuable than those hidden in the art museum, and they are daily, memorable and worth reading. Another attraction is the house itself, which has a strong literary atmosphere.
