I conducted a large-scale survey of students in our school by questionnaire! We mainly use the internet and visit classrooms, libraries, dormitories and roadside to intercept questionnaires. Among the interviewees, there are 10 freshmen who just entered the university, 23 sophomores who are in their prime, and 27 juniors who have chosen to work for further study. Can fully understand the views of college students on the current employment situation, and understand that the students surveyed are all college students in our school. Using the self-made employment questionnaire for college students, through qq online, in-depth dormitory, study room, library, roadside interception and other ways! * * * 70 questionnaires were distributed and 60 valid questionnaires were recovered. Effective questioners mainly come from telecommunication colleges, electronic control colleges and business schools! Take the survey method of random sampling.
The survey data shows that the severe employment situation of college students in the future is mainly caused by society, students, schools and employers. The main problems are the psychological status of college students, their own work potential, the lack of school employment guidance and the serious inconsistency between society and employers' requirements for college students. We mainly analyzed these four aspects:
First, fierce market competition.
Our human resources, especially college graduates, are either too much or too little. Among the more than 700 million employees in China, high-level talents are scarce, and only about 5% of them have received higher education. Then why is it difficult for college students to find jobs? Apart from ideological problems, the main difficulty lies in the imperfect employment market mechanism. In our survey, no one is optimistic about the current situation. Only 2 out of 60 people think that the current situation is relatively good, 9 people ('15%) think that it is a normal employment situation, and the remaining 50 people (83%) generally think that the current employment situation is grim and feel great pressure. At present, college students are generally aware of the importance of career planning. Among the respondents, only two people don't understand, one thinks it's not important, and 75% think it's important.
At present, most people still think their major is very promising, of which 12 people think their major is very promising, while 36 people think their major is very promising, accounting for 80% of all respondents, and only 6 people think their major is very promising. It can be seen that university education is still quite important. Due to the intensification of competition, most students have a clear understanding of themselves. When asked about the salary at the beginning of graduation, 3 1 people think that the starting salary is 1.5 million yuan, and 1.4 people think it should be 2,500 yuan, accounting for 75% of the total number. On the basis of price increase, college students demand such a low salary, which can also show their competitiveness.
Second, the school has insufficient guidance for college students to arrange employment.
Among the college students we interviewed, only 5 were satisfied with our school's employment guidance, 24 were satisfied, accounting for 48% of the total, and 52% were dissatisfied and very dissatisfied. This fully shows that our school's employment guidance needs to be strengthened to take care of the situation of most students. There are many factors that make it difficult for college students to find jobs. We mainly analyze it from the following three points:
First of all, the fundamental problem is that education is divorced from production. Second, the important issue is that the essence of education is educating people. The statement that education industrialization needs justice can remain unchanged, but the meaning should be corrected: education industrialization is to produce talents for society. The third is the concept.
Thirdly, the quality factors of college students themselves
After talking about their plans after graduation, more than 50% people put the postgraduate entrance examination in the first place, followed by finding a job and starting a business. From this, we can see that many college students are afraid to cope with social competition. Postgraduate entrance examination is to cope with future competition, that is, to find a better job for themselves in the future. When asked what they think is the most important after graduation, 15 people think that interest is the most important factor, accounting for 25% of the total number, while more people choose the most important factor as the importance of personal development space, accounting for 6 1% of the total number, and other factors are ignored by college students. When college students consider the workplace, 20 students choose to stay in the university, 10 students choose to go back to their hometown, 38 students advocate going to developed cities, and only 2 students choose the western region with surplus jobs. Among the qualities that college students attach importance to, interview skills and computer factors account for a considerable proportion, accounting for about 50%, while their professional potential is poor and they are generally looked down upon. Fourth, employers misunderstand.
(1), too much emphasis on diplomas. (2) There is gender discrimination. (3) Regional discrimination of students. (4) Pay too much attention to work experience.
It is for the above reasons that the employment situation of college students is not very optimistic.
In our investigation, it can be clearly found that the current employment situation is grim, which constitutes a situation in which college students talk about employment. On the other hand, college students have a clear understanding and serious thinking about themselves and the employment situation, which is good for their future efforts and incentives. In a word, the employment situation of college students has been clearly placed in front of us, and schools, society and college students should find cooperation points and win-win.
1. Students should strive to improve their comprehensive quality.
(1), focusing on professional learning. Strong specialty, solid foundation, deep theory and good skills are the talent standards that every employer yearns for. Professional study during college is an important foundation for students to go to work and realize the value of life. During their college stay, college students must pay attention to the systematic study of professional knowledge, improve their internal strength, improve their quality, cultivate their potential and master their skills, so as to lay a good foundation, create conditions and prepare for a smooth employment.
(2) Strengthen practical exercise. From the moment you enter the university, you should consciously plan your employment and seek practical opportunities through various channels to increase your weight for future employment competition. On the basis of strengthening professional study, we should pay attention to social activities inside and outside the school. These personal activities are an important stage for college students to exercise their potential and show their talents by guiding them to the society, strengthening practical learning, familiarizing themselves with work processes, enriching social experience and broadening interpersonal relationships.
(3) Adjust the employment mentality. For college students themselves, we must first have a healthy psychology to face the pressure and challenges. Natural selection, survival of the fittest is the eternal truth, and individuality is the present stage of our country. Social transformation and change cannot be achieved overnight. When we can't change the society, we should gradually adjust our mentality to meet the requirements of the society. Change the employment psychology in the past, let go of the extreme psychology of the old intellectuals who would rather die than surrender, and don't take the postgraduate entrance examination and the civil service examination as life-saving straws (after all, only a few people can get what they want). First, establish a healthy employment concept, then choose a job, strive for a job first, reduce the burden on society and family, and then hone yourself at work to find a breakthrough opportunity.
(4) In universities, we should also pay full attention to social trends, make career plans as early as possible, and make constant efforts in this direction. At the same time, do some part-time jobs properly without affecting your studies, so as to increase your understanding of society and accumulate experience. Make full use of university resources and master knowledge in an all-round way so as to take over work quickly in all walks of life. At the same time, college students should avoid the important and avoid rushing to developed cities. The western region is more conducive to the development of college students' ambitions and talents, and their wages are generally higher than those in the east, making contributions to the development of the western region.
2. Unit: Effectively correct the deviation of employing people.
On the one hand, the employer should strengthen the interaction with the school, learn more about the characteristics of each major in the school, learn from the idea of the internship system for college students, and bring them to the internship base in winter and summer vacations, which not only exercises their practical work potential, but also helps enterprises to inspect talents. On the other hand, employers should further change their thinking, firmly establish a scientific view of talents, and effectively correct the prejudice of selecting and employing people. If a unit wants to achieve sustainable development, it should not only make good use of talents, but also pay attention to the cultivation and reserve of talents. According to our survey, most students are full of passion, enterprising spirit, innovative spirit, solid theoretical foundation, quick understanding of new things and strong plasticity. If they are properly trained, they will certainly bring better and longer-term development to the enterprise. Therefore, enterprises should not only pay attention to short-term interests and pay too much attention to work experience, but also have a long-term strategic vision of talents, change the practice of focusing only on experience and diplomas, correct gender and geographical bias in employing people, attract talents in an eclectic way, and achieve a win-win situation for enterprises and talents.
3. Countermeasures to improve the employment of college students
(1), we should strive to improve the level of running schools. Colleges and universities should change their ideas, grasp the trend of internationalization of education, strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the field of higher education in the world, and comprehensively improve the level of running schools.
(2) With the deepening of educational reform, colleges and universities must be market-oriented, closely linked with the actual situation of economic and social development, speed up the adjustment of professional structure of colleges and universities, and rationally allocate educational resources in order to cultivate marketable talents.
(3) Establish and improve the employment service system for college students. Colleges and universities should establish a graduate employment guidance and service system integrating education, management, guidance and service as soon as possible.
(4) Schools should implement a cautious employment policy for college students, not only in the future development, but also in psychological adjustment, so as to alleviate their employment anxiety.
4. Other social and government countermeasures to deal with the employment problem of college students, the government and society must work together.
The government and society must make corresponding overall adjustments. The employment situation of college students reflects the level of social development from one side, which directly affects the development of higher education and people's decision on the value of higher education. The government should strive to develop the economy, adjust the industrial structure, especially establish high-tech industries and improve the industrial level, so as to increase the absorption potential of humanities graduates and make the talent training in colleges and universities and the use of talents in society connect well.
