Xinhua Bookstore is a state-owned book publishing enterprise in China with distribution outlets all over the country. It was established in Qingliang Mountain, Yan 'an on April 24th. 1937.

Because the bookstore belongs to Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China and China Publishing Group, it is the official bookstore of the country.

It is also one of the publicity and sales offices of official publications.

There are branches all over the country. By 2006, * * * had 14000 outlets.

The provincial capital operates in the name of book shopping center or book city; In Hong Kong, it operates under the name of "Xinhua Bookstore" in Wan Chai and "Zhuxin Book Company" in Macau.
