Gansu Police Vocational College was founded in September 1949, and it is called "Gansu People's Public Security School". 1978 was renamed as "Gansu Provincial Public Security School" after it resumed running, and 1980 was renamed as "Gansu Provincial People's Police School". In July 20001year, it was upgraded to "Gansu Police Vocational College" with the approval of Gansu Provincial People's Government. It is the only full-time public security vocational college in our province approved by the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Education, and is led and managed by the Gansu Provincial Public Security Department.
