Introduction to translation:
Translation is the act of transforming information from one language into another. Translation is the process of transforming a relatively unfamiliar expression into a relatively familiar one.
Its contents include language, characters, graphics, symbols and video translation.
Among them, in A language and B language, "fan" refers to the conversion of these two languages, that is, first, a sentence in A language is converted into a sentence in B language, and then a sentence in B language is converted into A language; "Translation" refers to the conversion process between two languages, from A to B, and then understand the meaning of B in the process of translating into the local language.
Both of them constitute translation in a general sense, so that more people can understand the meaning of other languages.
Translation form:
Translation includes interpretation, translation, machine translation, simultaneous interpretation, film and television translation, website localization and book translation. With the development and maturity of IT technology and communication technology, the "telephone translation" of real life service was finally born, so there are more and more forms and services are more and more convenient.
As far as the material form of translation is concerned, it shows the choice and combination of various symbol systems, which can be divided into four categories:
1. Phonetic language symbols, that is, the oral language of natural language, are expressed through telephone communication, internal and external negotiations and reception of foreign guests.
2. Silent language symbols, including text symbols and image symbols, are expressed in printed matter such as negotiation resolutions, social letters, telegrams, newsletters and various literary works.
3. The common ways of nonverbal symbols of speech are: special stress, intonation change, laughter and applause. Such symbols have no specific syllables to divide, and their semantics are not fixed, and their information is spread in a certain language environment.
4. Silent nonverbal symbols, that is, all kinds of body language symbols, are expressed as silent accompanying language symbols such as human movements, expressions and costumes, and have distinctive national culture.
