Jiangning Weaving Institute is located in the Daxing Palace area in the center of Nanjing. Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty went to Jiangnan six times and lived in Jiangning Weaving Institute five times. The place name Daxing Palace here is named after the two emperors Kangxi and Qianlong lived here. According to historical records, Cao Xueqin was born in Jiangning Weaving Institute in the 50 th year of Kangxi, AD 17 1 1. The planned reconstruction of Jiangning Weaving Institute will restore the original appearance of Jiangning Weaving Institute, including Cao Xueqin's birthplace, Cao Xueqin's former residence exhibition hall and on-site weaving Yunjin Museum. The Dream of Red Mansions Literature Museum, which specializes in collecting the literary masterpiece Dream of Red Mansions, will also be located in it.
