1, Introduction of Xinjiang Medical University:
Xinjiang Medical University, located in Urumqi, Xinjiang, is the only independent medical college in Xinjiang. It is a demonstration base for universities established by provincial ministries, a pilot university for excellent doctoral education and training programs, a university for overseas students to receive scholarships from the China government, and the first batch of universities in Xinjiang to study in China.
2. Department Specialty:
The school has 25 departments, offering 28 undergraduate majors, 10 specialist majors, including 6 national specialty majors, 6 key majors at autonomous region level, 9 national first-class undergraduate specialty construction sites, 7 first-class undergraduate specialty construction sites at autonomous region level, 10 national first-class undergraduate specialty and 18 autonomous region-level first-class undergraduate specialty.
At present, there are five disciplines: medicine, science, engineering, management and law, forming a discipline structure and layout with medicine as the mainstay and other disciplines complementing each other.

There are currently 1 7,290 faculty members in the school, 2 Huang Danian-style teaching teams in national universities, national famous teachers 1 person, national model teachers 1 person, national famous teachers in Chinese medicine colleges 1 person, master of Chinese medicine1person, 4 national famous Chinese medicine practitioners, and famous teachers in autonomous regions/kloc.

2. Collect resources:
The library buildings of Xinjiang Medical University are located in two campuses, namely, Xuelianshan Campus Library and Xinyi Road Campus Library, with a construction area of 48,000 square meters. There are 786,800 paper books, 729,000 e-books and 691.5,000 electronic periodicals in circulation, focusing on medicine and biological sciences, taking into account humanities and social sciences.
There are 42 Chinese and foreign databases such as Web of Science, OVID, SpringerLink, Wanfang, VIP and China HowNet, and 50 retrospective databases authorized by NSTL, including Springer, Nature and OUP retrospective databases.
