When is the Book Festival?
World Book Day on April 23rd is called World Book and Copyright Day, also known as World Book Day. The original idea came from the International Association of Publishers.

1995, UNESCO declared April 23rd as "World Reading Day". It was established to promote more people to read and write. I hope everyone can respect and thank the masters of literature, culture, science and thought who have made great contributions to human civilization and protect intellectual property rights.

On this day every year, many countries in the world 100 will hold various celebrations and book promotion activities.

Purpose of establishment:

The purpose of World Book Day is to hope that people scattered around the world, no matter whether you are old or young, whether you are rich or poor, whether you are sick or healthy, can enjoy reading, respect and thank the literary, cultural, scientific and ideological masters who have made great contributions to human civilization, and protect intellectual property rights.

Every year, on this day, 100 countries in the world hold various celebrations and book promotion activities, but this day is not widely known in China. In recent years, some publishing houses and bookstores have begun to engage in some public welfare activities.
