South Asia Middle School is located in Changsha City, Hunan Province, formerly known as Hunan Branch of the Middle School affiliated to Peking University. In 2002, it became an elegant boarding middle school, and later it was renamed Changsha South Asia Middle School. It is a modern complete middle school with high starting point and characteristics approved by Changsha Municipal Government.
On July 20 12, the school was successfully transformed into a municipal public complete middle school. Focusing on the educational concept of "laying the foundation for students' lifelong development", Nanya Middle School implements three strategies of "open education, personality education and independent education" and strives to build "the first-class junior high school and the first-class boutique high school in the province".
As of March 20 15, the school covers an area of 285 mu and has 467 teaching and administrative staff, including 390 full-time teachers, 276 middle and senior teachers and 5 provincial and municipal backbone teachers.
The school is located at Zhang Xiang East Road 178, facing Yuhua District Government in the west and Changsha South Station of Wuhan-Guangzhou high-speed railway in the east, with convenient transportation. Covering an area of 285 mu, it has high-standard teaching buildings, experimental buildings, art buildings, libraries, stadiums and basketball courts. The conditions of student canteens and apartments are second to none in the province.
