A Brief Introduction to the Author of Programming Life
Peter Seibel Common Lisp is an expert and author of the Jolt Productivity Award book Practical Common Lisp. After graduating from Yale University majoring in English, he devoted himself to the Internet industry. He is in charge of Perl column of Mother Jones magazine and Organic Online and Java column of WebLogic, and teaches Java programming at the College of Adult Education at the University of California, Berkeley. In 2003, he quit his job to concentrate on learning Lisp programming, and then got the Jolt award. Now he is the CEO of Gigamonkeys Consulting and lives happily with his family in Berkeley, California.
